There I was minding my own business, logging into my favourite Queensite, when I followed the home-page "Latest Queen News" link. Electric 6 Radio Ga Ga video online If you want to see what all the fuss is about, you can see the video on the Electric 6 website: link What can I say? I thought it was brilliant! It was a funny and affectionate parody - and to be filled with so many Freddie and Queen references - betrays not only an intimate knowledge of a body of Queen work - but a genuine affection for the guys also. (I just loved the poodle-haired guitarist - how to piss-off BHM in one easy lesson!). Now I know all this has been discussed before - so here is the new twist. I can certainly watch the full video - but how can I save it - or can it be saved elsewhere - so that morons like me can have permanent access? |

John - Just seen it and absolutely pissed myself - great cover, although a couple of lines wrong, and a great video - He really does bare a resmeblence to Fred! Will be nice to have a Queen song in the charts for Xmas! I cannot in the life of me see what all the fuss is about! |

I though i was the only one who didnt mind it but i was wrong, it getting queens music back in the charts and there not a talent less boy/girl band. I say good on them, i was gutted i missed the at t in the park where there played radio ga ga wish i was there to see it i heard it was amazing, the crowed where well up for it so it still shows queen still influence band of today, i'd rather have Electric Six cover radio gaga then shite life sorry west life |

I have to admit, I was relented to watch the video, but I have no problem with it. Especailly the ending with the gravestone and RIP on it. Matter of fact, even downloaded it. The only thing I thought would've been great, would've been if they used cats instead of the dogs. But thought it was more of a tribute to Freddie/Queen then anything. And btw, he does resemble Freddie in a couple of scenes. But if a band wants to cover a Queen song, more power to the legacy of Queen, still after all these years. I don't take no offense to it. Thought it would've been worse then i excepted. |

Oh, it's great, it's a HOWL!! (LOL) I had to watch it a couple of times to get the full effect. The "Freddie" has the moves and the ass-shake down to a science!! The dogs are TOO cool. I liked all the nice touches in the video, there's nothing at all morbid about it, it's FUN like a Darkness video! |

I've been looking for that video for awhile, and finally it was linked on Brian's site! I loved it, especially the poodles. Dork that I am, I had no clue that they were referencing Brian's hair! Great video. I went in to it thinking they were making fun of Freddie like everyone's been saying, but it was just a fun, tongue-in-cheek video. I don't think Freddie would've been mad at all about it. |

It could've been alot worse! What's to hate about it, 1st off, they acknowledge Freddie and Queen and apologize if Queen fans took it the wrong way. As much as I regret the passing of Freddie, life moves on, and if a band wants to cover a Queen song, that says alot! I really when I first heard about it, before seeing the video, thought it was disgraceful, but after seeing it (which have u seen it yet?) I don't see no reason to be upset over it. What good will that do, people have there expressions and it'll always be in anything in life, someone will oppose it. It's just a fact of life, and never will go away, noone in the world will ever agree on anything, cuz then this would be a perfect world, which we all no, it's not! And never will be. Move on with life, lifes 2 short! |

It's shit, but not sacreligious. I would have thought that the fact that the "Freddie" is semi-transparent would make it fairly obvious that it's a ghostly image as opposed to a "dancing on the grave" piece. But the holding up of a radio at the appropriate moments is over-cheesy. The poodle gag is overdone, and I can't think of what the chess playing poodles may refer to. |
