Freddie - - Thinking of you and missing you on your 13th Anniversary in Heaven. Your music still fills the world with joy and your legacy will live on forever. Sing to the Angels, Dear! We Still Love You, Love You, Love You . . . |

Yes You're right, we're all missing Freddie and the great music he made as a solo artist and with Queen. It's a very sad day but we have to remember him with joy. He's no longer with us, but his music and free spirit remain. God bless you Fred. RIP. In my defence, what is there to say? All the mistakes we've made must be faced today It's not easy now, knowing where to start While the world we love tears itself apart. |

Everything's fine, but... is everyone now going to open their own thread about it...? |

Although some in these Forum mentioned, that you should not be pathetic on that day, I am very sad still 13 years after Freddie's death. I enjoy life very much and always think of Queen in a positive way - but, come on, what is wrong about being pathetic once in a year, because we lost the greatest star in the whole rock and pop business. I became a Queen fan the day after Freddie passed away (exactly when I saw "Radio Ga Ga" for the first time on an Austrian TV-Music Program on November 25th 1991, I was fourteen back in 1991), and it is still a very emotional experience --- so today I will light up a candel and play "Bohemian Rhapsody" ... and think about the greatest band in music history GOD SAVE THE QUEEN AND FREDDIE MERCURY |

It really doesn't seem like it's been thirteen years, but I still miss him every single day. He was truly one of a kind and one of the most prolific performers of our lifetime. I wish things had been different, that he was healthy and alive and still creating music. Fate changed all that and took him away to a better place. What he left behind will never be forgotten! |

because Peter Cetera, life is too short and because it will bring everyone else down enjoy life it's what it's for freddie wouldn't have wanted people being morose - even for one day - remember the Freddie Tribute concert was his "send off" let it go, my friend....or you will become very old, very lonely and very sad - very quickly |

NO-ONE BUT YOU (ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG) by Brian May A hand above the water An angel reaching for the sky Is it raining in heaven? Do you want us to cry? And everywhere the broken heatred On every lonley avenue No-one could reach them No-one but you One by one Only the good die young They're only flying too close to the sun And life goes on Without you Another tricky situation I get to drowning in the blues And I find myself thinking Well, what would you do? Yes, it was such an operation Forever paying every due Hell, you made a sensation (sensation) You found a way through (found a way through) One by one Only the good die yound They're only flying to close to the sun We'll remember Forever And now the party must be over I guess we'll never understand The sense of your leaving Was it the way it was planned? And so we graced another table And raise our glasses one more time There's a face at the window And I ain't never, never saying goodbye One by One Only the good die yound They're only flying too close to the sun Crying for nothing Crying for no-one No-one but you we miss you freddie. |

I am proud that the clasic rock radio station in my city remembered Freddie today. I didn't remember that it was the 24th today until I was driving to work this morning and they had a taped announcement saying that he was one of the greatest voices of rock and left the world too early. They followed this by playing Killer Queen and then 2 hours later they repeated the same announcement and played Somebody to Love. I've got to say that living in Canada you don't hear nearly enough Queen on the radio, so it was quite a pleasant surprise. |

Last night - or this morning, depending on how you think of it - was the cast party for the highly successful high school musical to which I have been dedicating my life. At 12:06 AM, a person who was not me noted that it had been November 24th for six minutes - and he actually knew why this was significant. In a long story short, I now have a recording of something like 60 high school students all singing We Are The Champions. And it's fucking beautiful. RIP Freddie. |

I'd like to show my humble poem which I made one day... Some sleepless night, I whisper in the dark Why did You go so soon? Lookin up to the skies, I wonder where you are Don't You know how I miss You? I don't mean to bother Your peaceful rest I only just want to say how I love You Wherever I may be, Whenever it may be I always think of You, Freddie! P.S. I found it difficult to find same rhyme. RIP Dear Freddie! |

Whisperer -- if you think the fact that History Channel forgot what today is is shocking, have you looked at VH1's Rock Clock? What -- they couldn't see fit to even squeeze our beloved Freddie in between Cyndi freakin' Lauper and Eric Carr? |

My mom HAD to go and use up the yahrzeit candles a few months ago when we had that power outage. So I lit a shabbat candle and stuck it in some aluminum foil, and listened to Bohemian Rhapsody while I unloaded the dishwasher. |

Yesterday on the 24th i gladly wore a red ribbon and for the whole i watched every single queen dvd and listened to every queen song. I'll admit i cried but he was such a great artist and i loved him for it. Anytime in my life when ive felt miserable or sad i listen to his voice and he takes all the pain away i owe my life to him and moarning him is a to do. He will be missed and never forgoten. The local radio station even did a tribute. |

Classic Rock's website also mentioned it. One of our local alternative radio stations remembered it as a replacement for their "daily rock birthday" section and played "Millionaire's Waltz" after announcing it. Awesome!! |

I feel bad for people that havn't heard of Queen. My friend asked me who Queen was, and i just staired at her, then hugged her. She said, why are you hugging me? I said, because you don'thave the joy and plessure of their music as i do, you don't get to hear Freddie Mercury's welcoming, warm beautiful voice. So i am sorry for you. |
