What does Freddie say on the End part of the '89 version? Couldn't understand it...
btw heard it yesterday for the first time and it was nice to hear the slighly different vocal parts done by Fred :) :) But i also understand they weren't included on the Made in heaven version.
Yes the digital piano is better in MIH, but I mean, the intro is played in guitar in the B-Side, and I like that more than the (also beautiful) piano + string ensemble
'89 by a mile. It sounds like Queen music. The MIH version sounds like it could be written and performed by any generic middle-of-the-road band. The guitar gave it personality.
None, it's really a stupid sing,
the lirycs are so naive, so candid,
we could thing it was written by a child !
May be the worst song of the queen discography

Does anyone have a version of the scandal b side i could download or listen to as i've heard it before but dont yet have it.
I prefer the '89 version too. But is the MIH version re-recorded with Freddie's vocals as he felt, that there isn't enough time and he liked the song. Or were the vocals taken from the original version and they added just the music ? I don't know. Anybody an idea or know the truth ??

It's definitely the same vocal take, with a couple things removed.
