Hi Queenzone team. Sorry to have to ask you another question on rare Queen songs. Do any of you know were i could find some rare queen songs entitled.. 1. a fiddly jam 2. Breakthru 12" 3. Girl From Panema (garden lodge record) 4. Fuck off and die you fag (Garden lodge record) 5.silver salmon 6. rock a bye dixie (garden lodge record) 7. my life has been saved (scandal b side) 8. Lost Opportunity If any of these tracks dont exist let me know only i went on a website what was called something like link and it named those tracks there. It said a fiddly jam was an earlier version of hang on in there and all the ones i've put in brackets said that they were garden lodge records. As i said at the beggining i'm sorry to bore you all with another one of my annoying questions on rare tracks or b sides. If you can find them for me and let me know where i can download them or listen to them i would be very grateful. Thanks. |

Lost Opportunity can be found on the IGSM CD-single (and 12" I think). The 12"-version of Breakthru can be found on Breakthru 12", CD-single and "The 12" Collection" (which is part of the Box of Trix, but is often sold separately, especially on EBay). MLHBS can be found on all formats of the Scandal-single. By the way: The site linked above is the worst case of completely copying an existing site (in this case Andy's pioneering Queen database) and deliberately selling it as one's own that I've ever witnessed in my short, but boring life. |

First of all, this is a website where most of the information is stolen - in this case it's been stolen from Andy's website. The webmaster did not even bother to conceal this, he just linked to Andy's page. Now the songs 1. a fiddly jam - part of the unreleased Miracle medley demo 2. Breakthru 12" - was released 1989 as a single 3. Girl From Panema (garden lodge record)- in fact "Girl from Ipanema" by Antonio Carlos Jobim - part of the unreleased Garden Lodge jam 4. Fuck off and die you fag (Garden lodge record) - in fact "Que Sera" with alternative lyrics by Peter Straker from the same jam - the file name was made up by Queenzoner Chad_Hanging 5.silver salmon - unreleased demo - look at John Stuarts's post 6. rock a bye dixie (garden lodge record)- in fact “Rock-A-Bye Your Baby With a Dixie Melody“ by Jean Schwartz, Sam Lewis, Joe Young - again from the Garden Lodge jam 7. my life has been saved (scandal b side)- correct 8. Lost Opportunity - B-side to "I'm Going Slightly Mad" |

Oops, I shouldn't have bothered. Your post was better, YV :) I wonder how this list of songs could have been taken from that particular site though, because as far as I know Andy's page doesn't list most of them... |

I know where a lot of the b sides and garden lodge jams come from i was just woundering if you knew where i could get hold of them. because i'm not a member of ebay or amazon and really want to hear them. |

Phil - I did not refer to these songs but the discography, lyrics - all the lists were taken from Andy - just linked to his website. I really hate it when people do this, they have no respect for other peoples' achievements. Joe Satriani- all these tracks are in the hub like most of the other unreleased material. Read the sticky post in the Sharing The Music Forum and the Queenzone Questions and Answers for more information about the Queen hub. |

You can simply try out your username/password, they should work (you'll be disconnected if you do not open 2 slots). If not, please contact Marco, he is the hub owner and in charge of the user accounts |

thanks to the hero. Sorry to hear they've been stolen. If i've offended any of you by asking about finding these tracks because i've not heard them then i'm very sorry. I'm now just a bit worried i've upset someone by asking. By the way if i sound as if i'm having a go at anyone in this message i'm not i just dont want to anoy anyone by asking something that the other queenzone members may be sensitive to. But thanks for all the info. |

However, what I was trying to say is that I didn't find any part of that site that actually differed from Andy's, so I wonder where this list was taken from by Joe Satriani, because - knowing Andy's page rather well - most of them (the garden lodge ones) aren't listed by Andy. |

YourValentine 22.11.2004 10:29 |
Joe, you did not upset anybody. I was just upset about the way how Andy's website was copied by this person. There is nothing wrong asking about these songs. |

Joe Satriani wrote: Phil what do you mean so i wounder where this list was taken from by Joe Satriani? Only i'm not sure what you mean but if you tell me i may beable to help. What I mean is: - You started this thread by listing a number of song-names, apparently taken from that shite Italian website. - However, as far as I can see, this website is nothing more than a link to Andy Young's Queen page (one of the oldest and most information heavy Queen pages). - Andy's Page hasn't been updated for years (it probably stopped being updated in late 1999/early 2000). At the time Andy assembled all that info many unreleased tracks that are common knowledge these days had not yet been unearthed or weren't known yet to anyone except a very small number of collectors. As a result, Andy's page doesn't mention many unreleased tracks (e.g. the garden lodge stuff). - Knowing the site rather well, I'm 90 % sure that several of the song-names mentioned in the very first post of this thread do not appear anywhere on Andy's page. - Given that your source is nothing but a reproduction of Andy's page I'm slightly confused about the actual origins of your information. That's basically it. |

Aaaaah, thanks a bunch YV. That's it. Should've seen that. That's what you get from behaving like an anal retentative, I guess. ;) |

Sorry i didnt know about any of these songs till i saw that shit website. |
trustno1 24.11.2004 06:02 |
Rien - thanks for putting those tracks on your site. Sat up until 3am last night listening. No wonder Freddie told Peter Straker to f**k off in the end - what an arsehole! (As a side note, Robert Plant's Innuendo was worse that I imagined!) |

Thanks Rein for letting us listen to the garden lodge tracks as Barry said you do as all a huge treat. |
