Anyone else find it odd that Queen and Bowie never did Under Pressure at Live Aid?
Bowie came on right after Queen, it would of been a great segue way between sets or later on in the show.
They must of toyed with the idea.
Maybe they didn't have enought time for rehearsal? Or just because of the time limit to each artist... I don't know. It's pity they've never played live together.

Maybe Bowie was afraid that nobody would see he was on stage too.
Yes.Freddie on that particular day was so shining and full of charisma and one of a hell of a voice that he would overshadowed every artist in the world on that stage!Best Freddie Live ever IMHO.
Bowie was never complimentary about the song for years after the recording of UP, so I doubt it had anything to do with being outshone. Remember, his plan was a live duet with Jagger anyway.
But I once asked Roger why UP wasnt done at LA and he just said the idea was never even discussed.
I think Bowie went a bit anti-Queen anyway, asking for his contribution to Cool Cat to be wiped
I always wonder why Bowie didnt join Freddie on stage. Im still waiting to see Live Aid DVD. My sister is getting it for me for Christmas. But I do remeber watching it on TV. I had it taped on Beta tape. Yes you seen right. But that got destroyed in a fire. =(
Maybe Bowie couldn't keep up with Freddie? Freddie would of out shined Bowie anyway. Dont get me wrong I love some of what Bowie sings. But its nothing to compare to what Queen does. Theres not a better Frontman then Freddie Mercury.

Well, Bowie and Freddie were two, arguably, outrageous frontman. It would have been a tense performance with both equally flamboyant frontman trying to out do each other.
Cheers
Well there's something for the 2005 Live Aid if it happens. Lets show these hip hop people what a real duet sounds like. I mean Aguilera and Missy Elliot, who cares about that??
