I "reserved" my copy today. They had it in the stores but are not allowed to put it on the shelves for sale until midnight tonight. They are open tonight until 12:30am but I'll be fast asleep at that time. Besides in America it won't sell out. It is $17.99. I went ahead and paid for it. I can't wait to see it though. Any other Americans going to buy it tomorrow? |
MetzgerR 15.11.2004 17:59 |
I will be doing my best to grab one up! Ja ne! |

I'm kind of torn. I don't know if I should wait until Christmas, to see if my mom got it for me, or if I should purchase it tomorrow. Decisions, decisions! |

It's not as good as the UK PAL version. I had an advance copy given to me this past weekend and had fun comparing the two...as usual, a letdown in quality. Wish the US knew the technology of DVDs better, people in the UK could teach them a thing or two! |

I just got it delivered in the mail today from amazon.com! I can't wait to watch it. I promised I'd save it for a week or so, when I have more time, but who am I kidding. I'm going to watch it right now. :) |

Tee-hee, Lester will take anything...tee-hee. |

I'm SO there tomorrow. Can't wait to hear that KICKASS FBG version in its entirety. It will be a real trip back in time for me, who saw them just 2 months later at shows in the States on the same tour. And those lights on Roger's drumkit were COMPLETELY BLINDING. And most often the sound was DEAFENING. And we screamed til we were HOARSE. for DAYS. Unbelievable what we call entertainment!!! |

What is so great is sunday night at super walmart they had the dvd alreadly out. i snatched it up 2 days early. woo hoo!! |
Lisser 16.11.2004 08:59 |
Really? The guy at Media Play wouldn't allow me to have it last night. He said he'd get fined. He had it right there waving it in front of my face. He taped my reservation ticket to it. they open at 10am. If I am feeling better I'm going to go up there and get it. I've already paid for it. |
Whatinthewhatthe? 16.11.2004 11:30 |
Funny how no major chains are offering it "on sale" like they did for the WWRY Version Greatest Hits CD. It was advertised all over creation. Not a whimper from Best Buy, Tower or even Sam Goody... I searched all the sale circulars and there are a lot of new release DVDs shown for today but not one On Fire featured. It figures! |
kohuept 16.11.2004 11:34 |
I'll be getting it at least before Friday. I have the day off and let's hope my neighbors don't. They'll be hearing the same thing I am if they do! I was gonna wait for the Media Play tripple point deally, but I think waiting for Live Aid will satisfy that. |
Maz 16.11.2004 11:38 |
I'm going to try WalMart. They've had Wembley and the GVH DVDs, plus my local store had the MK CD, so I'm thinking it will have the MK DVD as well. Plus, they're pretty aggressive on undercutting Target and I am hoping that they have Live Aid cheaper, too. |
kohuept 16.11.2004 16:07 |
Well I didn't wait very long.... ...I got it at lunch today, brought it back to work and opened it. Guess what???? - no second disc!!! Guess I get to the store after work anyway. |
deleted user 16.11.2004 16:10 |
Fucking Best Buy. Went there this morning and they had it in stock but cannot fucking find a copy. I reserved one copy, and went home with the Live Aid set instead... |

Let's have 3 cheers for US retail stores. hip hip..........booooooooo! |
MetzgerR 16.11.2004 17:10 |
I don't know what's worse...not having it, or having it and not being able to watch it because I can't hook my DVD player up to my TV... :: sigh :: And I can't watch it at my family's house either, cause Queen is quite taboo there... I'm going to have to beg a friend into letting me watch it at their house...How sad is that? Ja ne. |
SergeantPepperDG 16.11.2004 18:32 |
I pre-ordered two weeks ago from amazon.com. Even if I do get it in the next few days, I can't open it till my grandparents come for Thanksgiving, since it's their "present" for me. Usually, my mom just orders what we want and has my grandparents pay for it, and say it was from them. |

I have my copy already.. IT ROCKS.. I love the special thanks to the Air horn man.. lol Oh man.. and I also got the Live Aid.. ok, I didnt get that, I borrowed it from a friend.. but.. wow.. |
Rotwang 17.11.2004 07:41 |
I bought MK DVD and Live Aid last night at Best Buy. I didn't know which to watch first. I ended up watching Live Aid to kind of compare performances. Although the day was not about competition, Queen was the headlining act in my opinion. The MK DVD is great. Time for some '70s shows. |

By the way, has the US version subtitles? If so, in which languages? |

According to the DVD, there are English subtitles. I've yet to get them to work on any Queen DVD, though (other than WWRY). Is anyones video better on GH2 than on this release? Is this due to the US inferior quality previously mentioned? |

Sir GH
ah yeah wrote:What is it with Canada that they can never get the same release date as the US. On the internet it said that both CD and DVD are coming out on the 16th and when you go to the store they say its delayed for another week at least, and at Best Buy they weren't even sure when it will come out. This happends every time a new Queen product is released and it makes me really mad. :(AdamCDN wrote: Is the release date the same for Canada? Liquid Scream 17.11.2004 14:39 |
The cd was actually out on the 9th in Canada. It's no surprise that the DVD has been pushed back again. The same happened with Wembley and GVH2. |

I finally got the damn DVD. UP YOURS! Also, is the concert an experiment for a wireless mic? |
