Me and Pim had the idea that Brian might be cursed, A lot of the artists he worked with end up with something horrible, from the destruction of a carreer to death. Lets look at this little list. Freddie Mercury -> Dead Mick Ronson -> Dead Michael Kamen -> Dead Cozy Powell -> Dead Michael Jackson -> Almost Dead Eddie van Halen -> Cancer Anastacia -> Cancer Holly Johnson -> Aids Drummer of Def Leppard -> Accident, loses one arm Tim Staffell -> No Carreer Eddie Howell -> No Carreer 5ive -> Broke up after WWRY Neil Murray -> Once a bassplayer in one of the biggest metal bands on the planet, playing huge stadiums all over the world. And now playing Queen covers in a theater It even works indirectly: George Harrison: George played in the Beatles with Paul => Paul played with Brian at the Palace in 2002 O.D.B: ODB worked with Pras => Pras was in the Fugees => Wyclef Jean was in the Fugees => Wyclef recored Another one Bites the Dust Arafat: Arafat was a friend of Bill Clinton => Clinton liked The Corrs => The Corrs played with Brian *Do not take this topic too seriously* |

does this go for astronomers too? i mean...this curse is only for musicians pedofils and zombies (jacko:P)? and the planets!!! auch! |
FriedChicken 15.11.2004 11:32 |

....and i've got a splitting headache that won't go away - and I've never met Brian - explain that then! what rubbish! Holly Johnson -> Aids - already HIV when met Brian Drummer of Def Leppard -> Accident, loses one arm - before he worked with brian - accident was about 1984 Tim Staffell -> No Carreer - chose no career BEFORE queen made it 5ive -> Broke up after WWRY - had already reached end of shelflife by this time - this was one desperate last attempt to regain popularity Neil Murray -> Once a bassplayer in one of the biggest metal bands on the planet, playing huge stadiums all over the world. And now playing Queen covers in a theater - whitesnake were already way down the u-bend by the time Brian met Neil - last top 10 hit 1987 |

Yes he did, in 1975 or 1976 on his Puttin' On The Style album. Basically, almost every death can be connected to Brian. Other additions of people who died in 2004: - John Peel - Peter Ustinov (introduced Queen in 1979) |

Taylor Hawkins -- had to drop into a rehab center for a period of time in fact -- all of us are directed affected by the curse -- anyone who wants to hear Brian play guitar occasionally has to sit through listening to Anita singing to get there. *strill trying to figure out a way to do a mash-up of "Let Me In"/"Let Me Out".* |

Sure, it took 12 years to culminate, but hey, better late than never, right. I thought I saw the queen wink at Brian at his medal ceremony! George Michael's solo career started spiraling downward with feuds with his record labels (Sony/Dreamworks) right after the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, where Brian performed. Then George Michael got caught with his..er..pants down by a cop in L.A. doing a leud act and the rest is lousy history. Lisa Stansfield's solo career also went belly up after the concert. Paul Young was barely heard from again except singing some crap theme song on TV's "Mad About You". The Eurythmics broke up and Annie Lennox's solo career took a dive after the concert. |

Brian also wrote Teo Torriatte, which caused Japan to fail in football as well. And he wrote Las Palabras de Amor, which started off the Falklands War. I don't know if they've been mentioned but: Maurice Gibb, George Harrison, Kenny Everett and Minako Honda are also dead. And Barbara Valentin. |

Come to think of it, everyone who ever talked to Julius Caesar is dead, too! :)- And I've seen on HGTV and other home-decorating channels that fireplaces are frequently being dismantled or paved in. I suppose his earlier destruction of his fireplace prompted the wholescale slaughter. Also, the whole big-hair fad that was booming in the 80s is gone now. Next, he'll kill all real music since he's been creating it for so long. (Wait, maybe that already happened.) |

Or something like that. Six months ago, Canadian Governor General Michaelle Jean waded into the seal hunt controversy and made headlines around the world when she ate a piece of raw seal heart as part of an Innuit traditional hunt ceremony. After about 10 minutes, the box was flattened by a Tesco delivery van. The Brian May curse strikes again! I'm pretty sure if I had called the badger Ralph instead of Brian May he would've found a way out of that box and made it to safety. Mind you, I did stun him a bit first with a wooden cudgel, so it probably wasn't a fair test. Back to the drawing board I guess. Now where is my pet cat, Bulsara? |

And they both ended up in jail in 2011 When he was working with queen! Robbin Williams did he get affected? Yes he did you know, he has now taken to using a microphone in the same manner as Freddie and everyone thinks, 'what a tosser' but he doesn't know. Same thing with Borat, he is totally unaware also. Oh before I forget, that guy out of FREE, he ended up appearing on conspiracy shows in America, coast to coast am, talking about giant lizard people I expect. Doesn't seem to have affected that guy out of KEANE yet though, they just won number one album in uk the radio 2poll of greatest all time albums of the last 100years or something . Because Queen should have been more famous then they were. I wonder what it is that makes all these things happen? Well, you do have a point there. LOL topic. Now that is a serious question for real ,joking aside, there was defintely something going on, I am serious, there was a cover up also and I can prove it. Take the bullshit about MTV banning I want to break free because of the drag and middle America, middle America is THE HARD rock audience, and MTV opened on their very first day with a list of videos which included DAVID bOWie in not one but three dresses and they repeated it adnorsium , it's enough to make you vomit! such lies and deceptions! Something was really going on, I mean really something was. I can only guess , but I think bowie was key to all that, it was Freddie himself who got david out of a contract with RCA America. now , how powerful we're RCAAmerica at mtv? It made bowie millions he got his massive deal with emi or was it capital? Anyway , was that why queen were punished because no doubt they were,. Take the I want to break free fiasco, it's lies , all of it, bowie had three dresses , three times in drag and old lady drag also just like John deacon, so that can't be the excuse either. Lurid and freaky , I mean david bowie used to walk around in a dress and he sold out all over America,! even admitted he was gay,! which Freddie never did , and those puritans at MTV did they ban him? No , they only chose his drag record as their star video repeated all day on MTV's launch day ! So you got ask what was it? The great power of RCA in MTV? And emi also powerful so they let BOwie on but punished Freddie because he was responsible for the RCA losing BOwie? Probably. Re,ever that was a time that videos sold your record It was highly important. Anyway way one thing is for sure , for totall sure, MTV lied a out the reason they banned I want to break free, they played bowie in drag all day on their launch and their had been no reason to not play queen in drag, remember also , that on their launch day that bowie song was very old by then, they deliberately chose it, it was not a new song. I also believe that after live aid The knives were out for Freddie, he was seen as too powerful, he literally owned the world audience totally owned it. They gave him the false HIV positive diagnosis knowing the plan; You get that false hiv + diagnosis ,it is false , it means absolutely nothing , it's fraud bogus . then you take the drugs and they kill, they did back then anyway , they straight out give you cancer. Now they are slier , they kill you slowly , very slowly in order to keep their industry going after the alarm belles stared ringing. The gays marched for Azt , literally scared to death after the manipulation they were shown in the media of the san fransico drug and poppers users who had contracted sarcoma and were drug ridddled addicts, they were pleading to not let that appen to them after being told they were hiv + they marched on Washington , but are quoted as saying , they wished they never had , when it ended up killing millions of them. Total genocide and it still goes on today. Recently San Francisco banned Azt from being put Ito waste water, like home toilets etc its banned from waste water because they list it as a known cause of cancer. And so , lethal. Freddie had other tests you know, Many do , they also have a thing called false positive tests If for some reason it comes up positive and you are not the target group They call it a false positive and tell you the test was faulty and forget about it But if you are in their target they will say take the meds you are positive and if you don't take the meds you will die And that is the killer , the meds. HIV does not do anything to you at all, the actual science proves the facts Those who took the meds died, now more slowly , because they changed the levels of lethality in them but, back then ,very quickly, those who didn't take the meds lived. It's a simple equation. It is scientifically proven fact. And to this day HIV has never been defended as medically proven to cause aids in a court of law even under request , because not one doctor or scientist will take the stand and say yes the HIV test detects the virus that causes aids , because they know there is no science to back that claim up, and they do not want to get done for medical fraud and so wreck their careers and let the whole house of cards fall on the corrupt nazis who are murdering billions of innocent people and have been for years. But equally they are scared of standing up against those powers that are committing the atrocity of this genocide on scale unheard of ever in human history Or if they are ignorant they should be struck off, because they have violated clinical practice by prescribing a drug that was known to have no object but to kill, and if they are ignorant of that , they should be struck off for not knowing. |

The Real Wizard wrote: Zero. It's just a running joke. Everyone knows people who have died.As a mathematical/rational approach, that is quite correct. Technically, though, you can never be sure. Even ruling out, for argument's sake, the metaphysical operation of an actual 'classic' curse, there could be a psychological effect if any of the 'victims' believed in a curse. If you want to get really outlandish and drag Jung into the discussion, allowing synchronicity as well as causality as feasible connections between events, it gets really murky really quick. That's why curses are such popular devices in fiction - there *could* be a real curse, even if it is very unlikely. Like the rage virus/zombie scenario. Long shot, yes. Absolutely impossible, no. |

^That's right. Online bullying, death of someone close, being fired, etc., are never the root cause of suicide. As far as I know, I myself have never participated in this thread, but everyone here is just making witty jokes which are definitely not meant as a sign of disrespect. The people mentioned here have died, nothing will bring them back, and a joke is a way of injecting levity into the situation. Yep. Nor perform a demo version of "someone to die for" (*Spider-Man song. ..knock off queen style song) I knew someone would post to this. I just couldn't bear it considering how ultimately sad and fucked up it is about Chris. Still can't see any humor in it |

Can we do historical ones as well? Adolf Hitler died 73 years ago. Hitler > Nazis > Stormtrooper in Stilettos > Brian |
FriedChicken 18.08.2018 10:07 |
It doesn't work like that Brian May > Queen Elisabeth II > Winston Churchill > Harry Truman > Adolf Hitler |

The guy who plays Brian in the new movie was born on November 24th. It's tenuous, I know - but it's still there. |

This is pathetic....poor Chris Cornell and Brian and everything you say...what a silly topic. |

Harlan Ellison evaded Brian's curse for a long time as well... but this key collaboration with Frank Kelly Freas on THE HAUNT OF HORROR ultimately sealed his doom. Brian> QUEEN> NOTW album art > Frank Kelly Freas > THE HAUNT OF HORROR No. 2 1973 > Story: "NEON" by Harlan Ellison **INTERIOR ILLUSTRATIONS BY FRANK KELLY FREAS*** link |

Brian May>>>>Annie Lennox @ FM Tribute Concert>>> Aretha Franklin "Sisters Are Doin It For Themselves" This one hurts a lot, because I love Eurythmics. As for the other poster: You are incorrect. The correct lineage from Brian to Prince was unfortunately Candy Dulfer. Brian May>>>Annie Lennox (Eurythmics)>>>Dave Stewart (Eurythmics)>>>Candy Dulfer (LILY WAS HERE soundtrack)>>>>Dulfer (live sax player 2001-06?)>>>Prince Rogers Nelson.... O(+> BUt I'm not sure it was Brian's fault. |

Brian May --->Flash Gordon (film and soundtrack)---> beloved, prolific actor Max Von Sydow at the age of 90. He was far too young. |

137,000 dead in the USA Brian toured with a band called QUEEN last in 1982, then with his solo band in 1993, then as QUEEN+ during the 2000's and 2010's!. It's unfortunate, but the evidence is there! "MANY PEOPLE ARE SAYING...!!!" ..SAD! |

Yet Brian himself will celebrate 73 years tomorrow! |
