I recognized three types of Freddie's microphones (at the live shows I mean, no TV appearances, videos etc.) he used: metallic one with the cord and the stand, black plastic with no cord and no stand (he used that one on Japan shows during 'Hot Space' tour for some songs and I can hardly imagine why), black plastic with the stand and no cord (on 'Magic Tour'). And there were one for when he was playing on piano and another one for 'Crazy Little Thing Called' (or it was the same he sung over the rest of show). Any additions?
P.S. IMO, the Freddie's mic's manipulation style was one of the Queen trademarks as well as the Red Special, Roger's sunglasses and Brian's hairstyle. Maybe that's why the microphone was used sometimes in their videos (as a rudder/joystick in the car from Radio Ga Ga, as a part of the battle 'Freddie's Mic Vs Highlander's Sword' ;) and on cover of 'Rare Live' video.
I think they used Shure (probably SM58 or something like it) on live gigs (the silver one with cord). I expect the same brand (Shure) even for cordless. For live rock music it's the best choice IMO.
On "One By One" video Brian plays piano and sings to Shure also - it seems to me it's Beta58.

I just wonder why it hasn't been imitated yet.
