recorded live at the prodigal son coffee house, open mic night august 2001.
...just finished working on my site including the origins of U2's new songs "miracle drug", "one step closer" and "a man and a woman" an on and off line collaboration.
...new developments stateside for the quest of a new cia number 3 chief, the hunt for bin laden and proposed "thieves world" soundtrack with queen. link
hey are you one of those from south korea that tried netbus trojaning me last night?
if you are, i do and don't understand.
i mean, just cause your people rioted against non lethal weapons and it is my volunteerism for link and link that got you going, well, your attack was unsuccesful and the message was taken to american politics where you will be dealt with.
as for your comment about my singing, well all i know is that there was some incredibly loud whistles and claps at the end and to this day, is remembered as one of the finest performances of hyannis and anything queen related.
Are your men on the right pills?
(Haven't heard the track, just responding to this "conversation" in which someone responds to someones invitation to listen to something)
and just when i thought i was mahler free .... dont need to reveal my identity to you anyhow mahler ... but some of your post are way out of the ordinary

Rien,
My advice don´t listen to it. That will say enough.
later on I did...
Just heard fragments by skipping through the song. Not my cup of tea.

My goodness. Are you alright, Mr. Mahler, or whatever you call your species? That almost made me shit myself because of uncontrollable laughter. If I ever had something nice to say, it would be this: You had the guts but not a morsel of glory. Go back to Hell, where you most probably came from. I'd rather hear Freddie breaking wind than to listen to your godawful voice. You never had the chance there, and you never will. Run and hide.
Cheers.
God awful... Do you hear yourself jumping between keys during sections of the first song? Like someone else said, after listening to a minute's worth, I skipped through the rest and it was all pretty much the same. Worse still, the only thing to listen to is this voice. *shivers* It's accapella...
Btw, there are two possible reasons why people clapped etc.:
1. Your friends were there.
Or 2. They were happy that it was finally over.
Sorry, but it's true. You must be tone deaf.
Peace,
Adam.
What an awful voice and an horrible singing! It's a torture for my ears!
I really can't believe there is someone thinking this was a good performance... even a cat would sound better.
Really awful.
Bill, all I can say is that you are a brave man putting that stuff up on a Queen fan web site...
I hope you are a better photographer than singer. I din't think you were absolutely horrible or anything, but I wouldn't do anything like that except in the privacy of my own home.
No, I take that back. I just heard some more. Absolutely horrible Bill.
well people
1. i was under the influence of "drugs" and that messed me up big time.
2. they were prescribed drugs
3. there was absolutaly no rehearsal for that, none, nadda.
4. i hadn't sang those songs in years in any form
5. aside from the occasional blue moon sing-a-long
6. don't know if you were expecting freddie replicas
7. i've done freddie replicas
8. be smarter than me and press record when doing freddie replicas.
9. okay, well, that is why it is free plain and simple.
10. now i don't know about you but the fact that being married helped in the last 2 ventures, "w. k. mahler" and "rough drafts live on stage"
11. who said musical training comes from a bonafide school.
12. everything from my 2 cds full of originals rawks.
13. what do you get when you listen to bruce springteen and queen for years?
14 add some u2, melissa etheridge, journey, van halen and kiss along with someone you probably never heard, gustav mahler.
15. read above for keys to success.
william mahler
Excuses? The main reason people don't like it is because you go horribly out of tune on an alarmingly regular basis. It's not the sound of your voice or the way you sing it. Just the tone deaf side of things.
Peace,
Adam.
I wouldn't be harsh to anybody. I sing in a rock band for 14 years and I know how it could be hard to sing live.
But I have to put it straight this time: WKM, your singing is horrible. There isn't any excuse for such performace. My advice for you: stay away from mic as far as you could.
