I know that the 1980's & 90's follow the 1970's - but given that I lost some of my post 2000+ information due to a bad CDR, I have decided to "kill two birds with one stone" - as it were.
The next few postings will deal with "Queen" in the 2000's. That way you guys get some awaited follow-up information, while I get some confirmation whether I have fully restored my disc - or not. As always, feel free to contribute and set the record straight.

At one time, QOL announced that Queen contributed to a Linda McCartney Tribute album by covering The Wings' song Souvenir. This album was never released, but did Queen actually record a version of this song?
Not to be pedantic, Zeni, but 'Souvenir' was only a Paul song from his '97 album 'Flaming Pie'.
Anyway, I thought they were supposed to do that in 2001...as far as I know, John's only worrying about the year 2000. But a shame this never happened, as it would've been one of the more interesting divulsions in recent Queen history.
Although Paul said he once imagined Wilson Pickett doing the song...maybe if Roger tried hard enough...

Ah, two mistakes in one post. My bad.
But I still wonder what happened to that song.
Hi
I was wondering where you got the intimate rush mix from, if you can remember. If not the songs in it?
I picked one up at the convention called that and am wondering if it's the same one?

Is it important to add that album version has only Brian's guitar while Radio Edit contains also Roger's drums and Bri's bass? Promo video for the track can be found in the Enhanced section of CD single and on special edition of Invincible album (different cover even).
