**edit: I'm not sure which folder this goes in, but since I rarely post in this section, here it is.
Chances are, most of you have no idea what I'm talking about, but for the universities in the States, there's a "friendster" type website where everyone from a given school can form interest groups ... and someone who isn't me has formed a Queen group.
Not to say that I'm the only one at my school who likes Queen, but I've never come across anyone on either this board or the QO board that's from my school ... it's very ... bizarre. Anyone else have this? That they can't find anyone else to even talk to about Queen?

yea, very few of may friends find Queen even tolerable (of course I feel the same way about a lot of their faveorite bands so i guess we are even) so before i discovered this board and other Queen-related forums, I was beginning to feel like no one else even cared about Queen any more. That's why I was so amazed when I first joined this site that there are so many people, esp. young people who weren't really around when Queen was still active as a band.
Barely any of my friends ever listen to Queen, and those that do only listen to their hits sometimes, and know very little about them. So it's really nice to be able to come on here and find so many other people who know so much more about them than I do, and who I can talk about them with. But, yeah, in the "real world", I'm pretty much alone as a fan.
I have one friend who likes Queen, but even she only knows their greatest hits. It's great to come here and talk to people who don't think I'm insane for knowing all this random Queen trivia - chances are, they know more anyway!
