My apology if this topic has been discussed before.
I know Brian sang this song, but the last verse starts "Hot child..." sounds Freddie to me. Especially, I don't think Brian can sing that kind of falsetto between "...ahead of you" and "And you...".
Any comment?
Yes, it is Freddie indeed. Queen oftentimes splitted their vocals this way. See 'Rock it (prime Jive)', 'I want it all' etc...
It is nicely done though, even if Brian is also capable doing falsetto.

They were trying both versions with Brian's and Freddie's lead vocals (as well as with 'Rock It') and later decided to make it as a duet.
i thought ROGER was in Rock IT
Actually the two version song was Rock It, Sail Away was always sung by Brian (except for the middle eight). Rock It is the one they tried in Fred and Rog's versions and finally put the intro of one and the rest of the other

Sorry, another one example of my bad English :( I meant that situation with 'Rock It' when they couldn't choose whose vocal would be lead was similar to 'Sail Away Sweet Sister'. Of course Roger sung it.

It's not your english. i understood exactly what you meant. Some people read what they want to read so they can reply in a degrading manner
Brian wrote the song about wishing he had an older or younger sister that he could share the growing pains with as he was an oly child if you listen to the In The Studio episode on The Game! To my ears, it sounds like Brian singing the high note before "you can throw it away to soon" and the way too soon before going yeh before the guitar solo. Roger hit the highest aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh before the middle guitar solo.
