Freddie Mercury called me last night, bitching about politics and the state of the union known as the United States of America. The conversation went something like this -
Jordan - Hello?
Freddie - Jordan? It's Freddie. I just wanted to make sure you were going out to vote tomorrow.
J - Of course I am.
F - Registered Democrat, I hope.
J - What would a British man who's been dead for
13 years care about my political affiliation?
F - Well, darling, I personally think that George W. Bush is a moron. If it weren't evident from the way he's ran your country, it was more than evident throughout the course of those 3 debates. How could someone so unprepared and inarticulate possibly run a country? I hope that everyone in the US using that Queenzone is voting tomorrow. Voting for John Kerry. By the way, I like that virtual tribute wall you guys have on there. I've been giving serious thought here lately to coming back down to earth in the form of a big huge orb that floats around Brian May's house - what'd you think?
J - Brian certainly loves his orbs. Look Freddie, I really don't have time to chat right now, can you get back with me later?
F - No, I've said all I want.
Besides... Freddie VISITED me and told me that he was really pulling for Bush... he said he had a bigger Stick?... or was it a bigger D..... Anyway.. I told Fred to shut up and mind his own business and to leave American Politics to the Morons who actually care..
Oh, and I also told him that I though Bohemian Rhapsody was lame... he slammed the door on his way out
First of all I appreciate that you wanna make us laugh, and I like different ways of telling a topic.
But, you should be original, fatty already done and thought that. and it wasn't funny at all.
Keep trying.

I swear to God, I will never, ever, ever, never again blaspheme Freddie's name by incorporating him into a made up conversation on Amercian politics. It's true - Freddie never called!
