As the title says this 'Best Queen Songs' so I'm not doing one per album. I'm also excluding Bohemian Rhapsody as it’s a no brainier. Anyway in no particular order; - White Queen (As it begun) live versions with the piano/guitar solo. - Farther to Son - Preheats Song - Ogre Battle - Who Wants to Live for Ever - All Dead all Dead - '39 - Innuendo - The Show Must Go On - These are the Days of our lives (any true Queen fan can't say they are not moved when this record is played) - Somebody to Love. The live versions are even better then the record in my opinion Also I would like to put a defense up for A Kind of Magic and Radio Ga Ga. A lot of people knock these songs because there very pop orientated and not true Rock songs. Whilst it’s true their not Rock songs they are still excellent pop songs in there own right. In fact they put a lot of new pop songs of today into prospective especially Ga Ga as it never seems to get old and at the time of its release well ahead of its time in similar to Radio Killed to Video Star was. There are loads more that I could name, We are the Champions, Don't stop me Now and I want it All spring to mind. |

I guess his favorite was "the ones that really weren't hits but had a lot of emotion in them". When I got this magazine (I won it in a lot of old GP magazines on E-bay a few months back) I found it rather uncanny that he mentioned those songs, since those are my favorites from A Day At The Races. |
