Believe it or not but Funny How Love Is is actually one of my favourites! Don't like Flash, A Kind Of Magic, Break Free and most of all I hate Bycicle Race! |

| brENsKi 28.10.2004 16:18 |
funny how love is would've fit well on a larry lurex ep - the whole "wall of sound" thing maybe, a remix of both ICHM and FHLI would show they are not too far apart -song structure wise |
| Sonja 28.10.2004 16:23 |
Lester, LOL!!!! I like Funny How Love Is because I think the lyrics are so damn cute. Yes, it sounds Larry Lurex-ish... |
| Sonia Doris 28.10.2004 16:26 |
i love all the songs you put on that list... i think delilah is pretty funny. worst songs? hm... radio ga ga...i guess... |

I actually like to think that it is one of Freddie's most personal songs. Don't like Radio Gaga either but not because it's bad, but because I've heard it way too often! It's a great live song though. |

Am I the only one who likes BODY LANGUAGE and a kind of magic. I really like bicycle race. I guess I just like to hear the sound of his voice. |

How could you include FHLI? That escapes me... |
| dragonzflame 28.10.2004 16:49 |
I always liked Delilah too. The one off Innuendo I can't stand is All God's People - even now I can't actually listen to it. |

I like son and daughter....I believe it is a really good song. And drowse? I don't know, but I think that is an excellent song too. I may not like Roger's vocals all in all, but for the song, it was appropriate. Ahh well, I won't argue much, because you all like Queen anyway, heh. |

I've never really liked Jesus, Coming Soon or Party. I'm sure I'll warm up to them eventually, though. I used to hate She Makes Me, but it's actually not so bad. |

queen - jesus sheer heart attack - stone cold crazy a night at the opera - you're my best friend, seaside rendevous a day at the races - in only seven days, good old fashoned lover boy jazz - jealousy the game - play the game host space - body language, calling all girl, las palabras de amor the works - keep passing the open windows, man on the prowl a kind of magic - one year of love, friends will be friends the miracle - scandal, was it all worth it IMO these songs are the only shit |
| PJ 29.10.2004 06:51 |
come on are you real queen fans or just greatest hits lovers? everything on the first 5 albums are superb, if you don't agree go and really listen to the tracks again and again, the song writing matches anyhing by lennon and mccartney. mercury and may are song writing geniuses, taylor and deacon also have both written some classics. I agree, sleeping on the side walk, fight from the inside, leaving home ain't easy, fun it etc are crap, but come on, sons and daughter my fairy king, are pure class! |
| Sonia Doris 29.10.2004 07:57 |
i still don´t understand why teo torriatte was mentioned here!!! |
| brian_may_wannabe 29.10.2004 08:34 |
Another One Bites The Dust. Flash. Body Language. |
| brian_may_wannabe 29.10.2004 08:39 |
The rest are fine, although I haven't got their earlier albums. The earliest one I actually got is The Game. Its a good album, but Another One Bites The Dust lets it down a bit. And I love ALL the song on the Kind of Magic (except Gimmie The Prize) and Made In Heaven. |
| Libor2 29.10.2004 08:44 |
A little notice for Andrew: In Only Seven Days isn't from ADATR but from Jazz album. And, as I'm here, I could add some song I don't like too much: Delilah, Radio GaGa, I Want To Break Free, Pain Is So Close To Pleasure, maybe Fun It and Body Language. |
| djaef 29.10.2004 09:05 |
there are a few mediocre songs in the first 8 or so albums, but songs like Party and Khashogi's Ship are definately amongst their worst. Delilah and All God's People as well. Teo Torriate is one of their best songs imo, not worst. |
| Craft 29.10.2004 09:25 |
I don't understand why there some people who don't like great songs as i want to break free or a kind of magic. These are just the best of them.I like body language very much, cos it has such a sultriness. beyond it i like every song of hot space. There really a few bad songs.I think just the miracle and innuendo aren't as homogeneous as the other albums. They including great songs, but also some weak ones. |

Lost opportunity a Human Body |
| Ms. Bea Haven 29.10.2004 10:58 |
Well, for as much as people say "Hot Space" is their worst album, I'm surprised I don't see many more tracks from that record on this list. (I personally, in general, like HS.) For me, I could do without about 50% of the tracks from the Miracle record, 25% of the Innuendo tracks, a couple on Queen II (before the Ogre Battle track), Sweet Lady (starts good but goes bad in the refrain sections, recovers a bit at the bridge) and definitely I'm in Love with My Car. A Human Body's not good at all, & Body Language is barely mediocre. That's my 2 cents worth. |
| Pim Derks 29.10.2004 11:00 |
"a couple on Queen II (before the Ogre Battle track)" Yeah, White Queen is a horrible track which should've been left in the archives. |
| crowley 29.10.2004 12:15 |
Queen II - Funny How Love Is Sheer Heart Attack - She Makes Me Night At The Opera - Good Company Day At The Races - (it's impossible for me to choose one) News Of The World - Get Down Make Love Jazz - Leaving Home Ain't Easy Works - Is This The World We Created Game - Another One Bites The Dust (I prefer the live version) Kind Of Magic - Pain Is So Close To Pleasure Hot Space - Staying Power The Miracle - Chinese Torture Innuendo - All God's People Made In Heaven - My Life Has Been Saved (I prefer the 1989 version of this song) |

Farkin hell... is this place over run with kids or something? The point in this thread was quite clearly to put your least favourite track off each album.... it isn't rock science children. You don't agree with something..... WOW. (?!!) |
| Lord Blackadder 29.10.2004 15:51 |
NOTE: For alot of these songs I would rather say 'least favourite' than 'worst'. Queen - Son And Daughter Queen II - Some Day One Day Sheer Heart Attack - She Makes Me A Night At The Opera - Good Company A Day At The Races - White Man News Of The World - Fight From The Inside Jazz - In Only Seven Days The Game - Don't Try Suicide Hot Space - Calling All Girls The Works - Machines A Kind Of Magic - One Year Of Love The Miracle - Party Innuendo - All God's People Made In Heaven - There isn't a song on this album I don't like, but I'll say Mother Love |

:: giggles :: I'd go with the IQ of a mole... Just to add my two cents, I'll say that Flash, One Year of Love, and Stone Cold Crazy have started to irritate me, and I've already gotten a lecture from my friends due to my distaste for Fat Bottomed Girls, although I'm definitely not saying any of them are 'bad songs'. I can't listen to Bicycle Race without cracking up, though, as it reminds me of my old Physics teacher, who was obsessed with bike riding...Anyways! Ja ne! |

Sheer Heart attack and IWBF are 2 of my VERY FAVEORITE Queen songs (SHA is prob my fave song overall) I personally think both are very very excellent songs, but everyone's entitled to an opinion (even if it's wrong!! jk) As for ADOTR I think it's a pretty good album, and a very nice complement to a ANATO! besides it has tie your mother down AND teo torriate!!! I always thought Don't try suicide and Spread your wings were awful tho |
| Serry... 29.10.2004 18:07 |
Umm... It seems like most of you are so big fans of 'Flash Gordon''s tracks :-) Every band/artist has a right to write not very good songs, or it'd be very boring to have about 15 'Greatest Hits' albums :) |

If you can round the bad guys up quickly and put them together in a confined (and airtight) space quickly and effectively without much trouble, I'd go with gassing. Anyway, I think shooting would be best, but ritually murdering them (disembowelment, followed by hanging them upside down from their left legs, putting their intestines around their necks, and pinning a tarot-card (the hanged man) to their chest) is aesthetically better ;-) |

antiden wrote: I get a feeling like there are a lot of idiots here, who call themselves QUEEN FANS. They're writing different stupid topics, which do not match with love for Queen. Fuck you, guys!Well, after all, Queen are only a people, and - like other bands - they did amazing, good, mediocre and maybe bad songs. It's only a music, so you'd calm down. Have you any problem with the fact people could have their opinion to things? |
| Wouter 30.10.2004 05:47 |
Can we get rid of all these morons, who, in the name of Queen, decry everyone who dares to speak in a somewhat negative way about Queen? Their tunnelvision scares me. Nb. if you ask a member of a band if they made any terrible songs, he will agree. Even with Queen. |

Body Language, Bicycle race, Tenement Funster, I'm in love with my car, a few more but i can't think. |
| crowley 30.10.2004 15:43 |
Someone asked me why I don't like "Is This The World We Created". Well the answer is quite simple: I always considered Queen to be the cooperation of four talented people. And in ITTWWC you have only a duet between Freddie & Brian so it's only a Queen song by name, but not really. Although I enjoyed the live version of it I simply dislkie the album version. As for the second matter - to be or not tobe a Queen fan, I guess Mike Hurt and others like him must take a look into the dictionary and learn the difference between being a fan and being a fanatic. 'Fan' is someone who likes certain group or music and can see the good and bad sides of it (however he or she claims that there are more good sides because otherwise he wouldn't adore the group) and 'fanatic' claims that every song of certain group even the most shitty one, even "Yeah" from "Mae In Heaven" is brilliant. I guess you call it "Stepford" here. |
| thequeenling 30.10.2004 16:20 |
well...........heh heh i may as well say Bohemian Rhapsody was the worst Queen song with all this patter of ther songs...its not but you all try to hard :( and your all bloody annoying with your abbreviations pointless...its not quicker. ITS CONFUSING :) |
| mrjordy 30.10.2004 21:41 |
"Hitman" from Innuendo is one of my personal least favorites. "Machines" reminds me of "Radio Ga Ga", but in a way that sucks. That song is too 80s. Too synthesized. Too something. Aside from those two, I can't think of any Queen songs that turn me off. |

I don't like to judge music. You shouldn't either. I mean, if you were to make music, you should ask yourself, will my music be as bad, as good, or even better than theirs? If its worst, then I wouldn't say any songs suck. |

Heaven for Everyone. Ugh. I can't stand it. Man, I wish I hadn't bought the single. |

My only complaint about Sweet Lady is the 'smells like cheese' part...what the ratten? |

Only one song ever comes into my mind when "worst" Queen song is mentioned, the incredibly cheesy Hijack My Heart, which I know is beloved in some corners of Queen City. But I like when I hear how some fans love it, because it makes me realize that one day it will grow on me, much like Mustapha and Delilah did... |

My Life Has Been Saved gets my vote. A review I read of MIH said it sounded like Cliff Richard, and that's so right. I haven't been able to listen to it since. |

QUEEN- Jesus Version from DeLane Lea is far better QUEEN II- Funny How Love Is Just ridiculous... SHA- She Makes Me Booooring.... ANATO- You're My Best Friend doesn't fit the album IMO ADATR- Drowse Boring- and I love R. as a vocalist! NOTW- We Are The Champions SERIOUSLY!!! JAZZ- Fun It The drums are awful... THE GAME- Coming Soon Just a noise, not a song... FLASH- almost everything... ok- The Ring What the hell is it...????? HOT SPACE- Body Language Utter crap WORKS- Machines closely followed by Ga-Ga and IWTBF... First one- crap, the rest- heard too many times and the production sucks (generally) AKOM- Pain/Pleasure and Friends Will Be Friends First- terrible; second- ridiculous chorus... corny... MIRACLE- Chinesse Torture A real torture.... INNUENDO- Delilah Can't get used to it, sorry MIH- My Life Has Been saved The b-side version was much more interesting... |

In defence of Funny How Love Is... it's may fav song on the album. The way MOTBQ just builds and explodes into FHLI sends shivers up my spine. A simple song, but catchy. |
