Hello, sorry if this has been asked before;
My friend asked me if I knew any Queen/David Bowie duets apart from 'Under Pressure', and I said that I didn't. He mentioned that according to some site there was unreleased one called 'Ali', is this true? And if its true, is there anywhere I can possibly get it?
Thanks.
Well I knew there was the Cool Cat demo, but all David Bowie does is 'dum dum dum' in the background, so I didnt really count that, but thanks so far anyway guys.
Right, to answer your question, which I believe somebody already did (this is just to reiterate): there are a few tracks which showed up on a BMI database a few years ago:
'Ali' (Bowie/Deacon/May/Mercury/Rogers/Taylor)
'It's Alright' (Bowie/May/St Gian/Warren)
'Knowledge' (Bowie/Deacon/May/Harris/Taylor)
These contain no actual Queen or Bowie involvement, other than the sampling of 'Under Pressure'. Unfortunately, I have not heard any of these songs - or even heard OF them - but I'm highly doubting that they were very popular, if they were even released as singles.
