This is an email I just sent to Greg: Hi Greg, Sometimes Queenzone can be fun, but I'm really shocked by the comments of some of these people I thought I knew. Perhaps they're using this as an opportunity to express their childish jealousy about you.. they see you as a fan like themselves who just got very lucky and now is in a position they'd love to be in. What they must not realize is what a nice guy you are, how accessible you are, how helpful. For that, they really are missing out. Queen Productions as a whole is incredibly accessible to fans. We have yourself, Justin, even Brian answering questions and providing information from the most mundane to highly technical. People like Mr. Stuart don't impress me. His arrogant "and here's some information about something else which will never see the light of day" type nonsense is to me nothing more than an excuse to brag about his supposed collection and inflate his ego with the ass-kissing replies he always gets. No wonder he hangs around with common fans. A true fan with interesting rare material would first make sure the artist had the best quality copies of everything they needed, whether for release or not, it's Queen's work and for all they've given to the world I think they deserve to have their lost articles returned. But some are apparently only concerned with the financial side of things and the bragging rights. It's probably an odd analogy but I'm reminded of how Willie Nelson lost so much stuff to an I.R.S. auction, but his true fans bought a great deal of it and promptly returned the items to him. That's the kind of fan-to-artist relationship I'd like to see with Queen. And the doors are certainly open. Heck, even little old me was able to send you a disc of my editing work for no particular reason, and you were kind enough to listen and comment. It meant a lot to me. And recently I sent Jen a tape of the complete Saturday Night Live show for Brian because she requested it. As a 'Queen-official' this is not the way and not the choise of words to talk to fans. Wether you agree with them or not. A professional would make himself known as for who he is and gives his comments on threats about unreleased tracks and such. If GB would have presented himself and used different language, he would have made sure we would all believe he IS THE Greg Brooks and we would all be very interested in talking to him. Now? Damn and i finally thought after 3 years of waiting the Edomonton Queen Pokeman Convention was about to really-- really and i mean really happen... with B and WWRY cast members and all.... i was soooo excited i emailed B and thanked him for agreeing to work with ole Dark on it--of course i used Richards name in the email figuring B would recognize that more then he would Dark or Insu... now gotta email him back saying now told being SARCASTIC... *hangs head in shame* |

This is boring. Let's all talk about our favorite HR Pufnstuf episode instead! Who remembers the one where Witchipoo kidnapped poor Freddie the Flute and locked him up and kept him in a birdcage??? I personally think that Freddie deserved it, he was always so whiny. You'd think Jimmy would be happy to get rid of his whiny little ass, but Jimmy ended up going through so much trouble to save him! Any thoughts on this? |

No thoughts...my thoughts are on how this Greg chap has been playing with us now for about a week. It's a shame he seems so into himself and what he does...must be nice to be in such a "lofty" position. Pffttt.. he's not worth the time or the effort so i won't elaborate. All i will say folks is he is'nt who he seems to be. Mark my words. Come to think of it, maybe i WILL talk about H.R Pufnstuf after all!! That was a fab show...loved that hot witch and her vulture sidekick. I think the guys who made that show were all high to the sky on acid when they made it...but hey, it was a cool trip! Pufnstuf forever!!! As far as the Brooks "saga" goes...i'll say this: "Spikey Says Bollocks" |
