Hi, which is your favorite Queen song written or sung by Roger? That's the list: -Modern times Rock & Roll -Loser in the End -Tenement Funster -I'm in Love with my Car -Drowse -Sheer Heart Attack -Fight from the Inside -Fun it ;-) -More of that Jazz -Rock it (prime jive) -A Human Body -Coming soon -Action this day -Calling all girls -Radio GaGa -A Kind of Magic -Don't loose your head -A dozen red roses ;-) -Hijack my heart -Heaven for everyone I do not mention the Co-written ones on Works, Miracle, Innuendo and MIH because it is not really obvious, except Breakthru and Invisible Man I think. My favorite is - well hard to tell - maybe Tenement Funster, which has the taste of a rebellion, but Flight from the Inside has IMHO the best overall sound, and the one I dislike is More of that Jazz, because it bores me quite a lot. I realized that Roger got more and more softer in the last years, not that rocker like in the 70s, even his lyrics changed from Cars and bars to ... well, something not to be indentified :) So, I am curious of your favorites, c'mon! :) |

Forgive me if I have ballsed up, I always believed that Innuendo was Rogers idea.It's because a QMS list done years ago, in which they thought the song was Rog's just because it had much percussion (absurd argument btw). Then it got spread and soon it was "common knowledge" that the song "had been written" by Roger. It turns out that he did participate actively in the lyrics, but that was it. He comleted what Fred had written, lyrically. Musically it's still Mercury's. |

I really like all of roger's seventies stuff. Fight From the Inside and More of That Jazz are great as is I'm in Love with my car. Least favourite would be his Hot Space efforts. Poor. Solo I really like most of Fun In Space as well as Surrender and Nation of Haircuts. I have to be honest and say that I was gutted when my Electric Fire got stolen, its a fucking great album. Hapopiness I dislike a lot. It's only jsut better than The Cross. |
