People always have said how flamboyant Freddie was but that was only on stage. If you just sat down with him you probably couldn't even tell he was gay. He was very calm, funny, and reserved. His stage persona was just something different. So I think people should stop talking about him badly just because of his stage attitude. Because after all both Freddies could entertain the hell out of you! Who agrees?
i don't agree much at all....you only have to read the (well documented) stuff about the after show parties and various other "events" to realise that he was totally "flamboyant" - as you call it - practically all the time in public
the side of him YOU refer to - as being shy - was something the fans would NEVER get to see
only his private world saw the truly private, and retiring FM

I dont think Freddie could have been more gay if he had tried. The man had a minstrels gallery in his house for gawds sake.
