Hi Board!
an absolutely unimportant thread here, I know, but would anyone of you please tell me, which cigarette brands the three members prefered?
And please don't come up with Marlboro ;-)
Thank you!

I saw a picture of Freddie who lighted an purple cigarette.......;-)
Freddie liked some sort of imported specialty cigarette. It's mentioned in Hutton's book but it could take me awhile to find it. Check back later, I have nothing else to do.
I found what I was thinking of already, but it doesn't mention a brand. I think that was in Freestone's book (which I don't own). Sorry for the false alarm.

Jim 'the gardener' Hutton mentioned that freddie chain-lit (rather than chain-smoked) Silk Cuts.
Dig somewhere in the picture archives and you'll see freddie smoking a pink stick...

oh dear :)
nobody is forced to reply to any of the threads, not even to to read them. just like mentioned in the thread, this is not an important one (like most of them) but it is a question that is maybe interesting for other smokers here, too.
and about biting the head of - which head???
;-)
Some people like menthol, some like to roll their own, some (like freddie) want the hoarse voice, and some just want to look cool. it depends, i guess.

Yeah it is. ;-)
No, kidding. Chain lighting or smoking is when you smoke one cigarette right after another.
you finish one, light the next one, ...
you smoke a lot more when you smoke chain.
I have not ever smoked but I chain water drink. After I drink one water bottle, I open another and drink and repeat because of kidney stones which were caused by my junkfood habits. Thank Christ Brian didn't smoke. Other rock musicians who were non-smokers were Ted Nugent, Rik Emmett of Triumph, Roger Hodgson of Supertramp. David Gilmour quit smoking in 1975 after hearing the coughing fit on the intro to Wish You Were Here which was him because of his smoking. When he heard the cough during playback, he was disgusted and quit cold turkey. A month later, Roger Waters quit smoking as well after he chain smoked a carton of Marlboros. After he smoked them, he lit the butt ends and was angry with himself and quit!
