My boyfriend and I have a very fair division of labour. I cook and prepare meals, and he helps in that by washing and cutting vegetables, taking things in and out of the oven (I'm afraid of the oven), etc. Afterward, he cleans up the kitchen and we both load the dishwasher. He will put laundry in the washer and dryer, and I'll fold it. I will dust and he will vaccuum.
I don't think it's fair to make that generalization. ANY gender will get out of housework if they can possibly get away with it, because housework isn't as fun as romping between the sheets, but it's necessary.

What they get out of it: A clean house. Why they want women to do it: Cos it's very, very boring to do it yourself.
Then you might ask why I (female) want men to do my housework and what I get out of it? See above answer.
There's also those who here will claim that seeing a woman/man doing housework is sexy. That's so not true, it's just an excuse to make someone do the housework for you - sexy is something everyone want to be, after all.
I'm with you Mex, in fact I already practice this. I just don't have a wife.. but hey, equal rights for all!
I have to take care of myself, cook, clean, try to raise my cat to be a proper lady. Thank goodness for government checks, that's all I can say!
