It'll be growing step by step, I think it's better that way. In all previous versions I put a lot of info but very few of it was actually deep. Now it's better to update it gradually with (finally) something worth a look
Thanks for noticing it by the way :)
Would it be possible to put the old information back up to a temporary site or something? While you may not think it's 'deep' enough, it still was a wealth of information; instead of taking everything down and restarting from the beginning, work on it gradually while at least still letting us enjoy all the hard research you put into it.
That, or you could e-mail me all the quotes of band members for all the songs, but that would be too much trouble 8-)
About the old info - just 2 minutes ago I finished a list of "Who played what curiosities, part I (from Queen I to A Day At The Races)." This week I'll try to finish parts II & III and upload them in the first update (around Sunday), so you'll have pretty much a summary of the info I used to have there about that matter.
Very soon I'll also do the trivia lists of "who sang what" and "who wrote what".
As for quotes, I received many mails about my "crazy decision" and that's the feature they mostly mention. So I think asap I'll have to collect them and upload them again (in a more organised way of course, and including the source, not just the year). Meanwhile you can read the ones in Royal Legend (link which were my source of inspiration for doing it in my site in the first place.
If I work hard on those lists I think I can collect the worthwhile parts of my previous site very soon. Just have to find some change for the coffee machine. The hard part is to know where to start
I apologize deeply, but I haven't been able to figure out in the three years I've owned the album, what the hell is Bechstein Debauchery? It doesn't sound good.
Bechstein is a piano brand, like Steinway, Yamaha, Bosendorfer, Baldwin, Bluthner, Kawai, Young Chang, Boston, Essex...
Debauchery is a word for indulgence, like depravity, lechery, lust, lawlesness...
Your site was great and I don't quite understand why you think it had to be changed. But I'm sure that the new version will give us even more interesting insights into the world of composing and recording. Whatever comes out, thanks for sharing all this with us !

As I noted in one of the other posts, the one photo for Long Away doesn't work. And how do you know that the photo with John is from the Long Away sessions?
