Why people don't give the attention that this song deservs?
I think it's a beautiful tune, with a beatiful melody, with great arrangments... it's so very beatles
Everytime I hear that, it takes me to somewhere far away
:-)
Another great song that tends to be forgotten, although there was a quick blurb about it in a guitar magazine, I can't remember which one, but it had that and Killer Queen as two of Brian's notable solos.
So very Beatles????? I think not. If it were very Beatles then I wouldnt like it cos the Beatles were the most over rated pile of cack to grace the planet!

You did not just say that. If I had any respect for you before, I would've lost it. Thankfully, I think you're a massive jackass, and never had any respect for you to begin with, so no harm done.
Flash Gordon better than A Day At The Races? I don't think I've ever heard that before. You're entitled to your opinion, but mine is that I love A Day At The Races. It's one of those albums where each track really holds its own.
I love NOTW and All Dead, All Dead is beautiful song. I remember first time I heard it, I was shocked, how amazing is Brian multi-layered guitar solo in the middle. It sends 'shivers down my spine'.
BTW, HeM, of course everyone is entitled to own opinion. I like probably NOTW a little bit more than ADATR, but to say ADATR is crap? Hmmm, it’s a strong cup of coffee for me. Speaking of one of Queen’s best record IMO.
Oh my God!!!! *nailing hands to the cross* ADATR is crap? Well, if it was so, I wouldn't have understood a s**t about music for all these years... Hmmm, no, there must be something wrong in all this... Let me see... Maybe you meant that you don't like ADATR that much, didn't you? And that, in your humble opinion, NOTW is better... Yes, I'm sure you meant this... Go slow with terms, OK?
Btw, I agree with you, Libor2, about the 'All dead, all dead' evaluation... I don't like NOTW better than ADATR (which, for instance, is my favourite album from Queen), but this song surely represents one of Brian's most highly-inspired moments...
Albyboy
Well, I think ADATR is better than NOTW.
All dead is underrated, but I think You Take My Breath Away too.
Love these songs
but hey, that's just my opinion :-)
BTW, nothing is worst than Flash soundtrack
I LOVE this song myself, as, for one thing, NOTW was the very first Queen album I ever bought (on cassette back in 91 or 92!).....very sad song really.......isnt about a pet cat of Brian's?
Have you contributed anything to this board other than idle threats and sarcastic remarks?
See, if they were at least funny, that would validate your existence here...
I read this thread after Mrs. Badguy's and _queenie_'s. Those assclowns are some of the stupidest posters I've ever seen. Sorry. From a bohemian poster to a deity.
I love the song, particularly the multi-layered guitar stuff which reminds of the staircase thing from ADATR actually. I always wish it went on longer in this song because it's really beautiful.
For the record ADATR is my favorite album. I think it gets unfairly judged in comparison to ANATO because they're both perfect. What's wrong with perfection? :)
I don't think I've ever heard a "perfect" Queen album. They all have one track I'm not thrilled with. NOTW- Sheer Heart Attack, ANATO- I'm In Love With My Car, ADATR- White Man. But I haven't heard nearly all of them, so I'll reserve judgement to only the ones we're talking about here. I love All Dead, All Dead, it's really very sweet.
