I was thinking about it and... the box set is supposed to be all the Queen discography with extra material.
So, the question is, I have all the originall discography and spent lots of money on it as most of you might have.
When the Box Set is released, will you be willing to buy it and have another full discography (and its cost) just to get the extra material?
I think I would :S lol
Greg has stated that it will NOT contain the original albums again, and I hope they stick with that. It's supposed to be in three volumes too.
But if the time ever comes, I'm sure anything can change.
To answer your question though, if it/they do have the original material as well, of course I'd still buy it but I wouldn't be too happy about it and the (most likely) higher price might make it difficult for some folks, including me.
I probably would, but I thought Greg Brooks made it clear that they weren't going to rerelease the albums?
(By the way, Josue, the link in my thread wasn't meant for you.)
OH I AM SO BEATEN!!
lol Lester, I know, I was being ironical with that *sigh* ;)
Hey people, sorry, I didn't know the original material wasn't going to be on the box set lol, ok. Then it make it more easy to buy.
This past year Brian has said he will re-release the entire catelog of studio albums as DOUBLE c.d. sets (OMG!) with bonus tracks and hopefully film on them too!!! As for the box sets they will not have the original albums (thank goodness!) so that there will be more room for loads of rare and unreleased material. These have been pushed off for a few years though...
Though it would be totally ridiculous to buy all the albums again, I know I'd do it anyway... Can't help myself. Just to get some new material. So it's great if it's true there'll be no albums, just unreleased stuff.
