notice the D's on freDDie. Seems too good to be true. Imagine that you are freddie. And making a signature like that, would you stop in the middle of writing and admire your beautiful signature? No, right? Analyze it well, how much is it selling anyway?
It's not "too good to be true". In fact it misses most of Freddie's typical "curves". And indeed, the "dd" is the most noticeable fault of the faker.
Still, this signature looks much better than this shit: link
Idiots buy everything. Their fault. 220 pounds for a fake signature?
Just a month ago two beautiful genuine signed LP's (Queen I and Queen II) sold for 160 pounds on ebay.
Even the fan club can mistake fake signatures for genuine autographs. Queenconcerts.com has galleries of both fake autographs (the majority of which were sold by or deemed authentic by the fanclub) and genuine autographs, the majority of which were obtained in person.
i am was amazed when sebastian posted what looked like freddie-written lyrics of Princes on his website, when queenconcerts.com deemed the manuscript as a brillant fake.
The POTU lyrics look so "perfect" that they are clearly fake - compare with other handwritten song lyrics. Besides that, I asked Peter Freestone to be sure and he confirme that POTU is for sure fake.
This one is really difficult: link
I'm quite sure it's fake but it's a really really nice fake.
could be real, could be fake, I can't say.
I did, however, compare it with a real signature. I put them side by side and came up with these three differences.
The supposed fake signature:
1. has different "incomplete" D's, as pointed out by others earlier.
2. has a dot above the E, instead of the I.
3. has a hard-to-notice R after the F in "Freddie". It looks like Fueddie or something like that lol
Therefore, I can not legitimately say that it is indeed fake, but if it is, these three differences will be the defining reasons why.
