I'm quite saddened... I thought certain files would never be subject to this type of thing.
Yeah, I've got SP 2 so I'm okay for now... but this is just the beginning. Gradually it's going to get worse. That's my theory anyway. I mean what if simply loading up an image in your browser becomes harmful? It's gonna be worse than just files you have to click on.
Doesn't seem to effect my Macintosh.
As for my brand new PC, I got to enjoy spending 6 hours of my weekend reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling XP Pro.
Really, how do people tolerate this crap from Redmond?
FYI, I think the JPG exploit only effects IE/PC. One of the easiest ways to reduce malware on your machine is to dump IE. Check out FireFox...a great browser.
