For those who know a lot about Queen discography , i´m a Queen fan since 1979 and i have my vinyl collection and some other stuff, and i Bought in San Jose, California, USA, a single from a jukebox. it´s Bohemian rhapsody. When i saw the song list in the juke box, i asked the owner if could sell it to me, and after a long talk, he decided to sell it to me.
When i looked at it, I was amazed because it has BR on one side and You´re My BF on the other. I bought a BR single a long time ago and it has I´m In Love WMC as a b side.
Does anybody have one single like this, with BR and You´re My BF on the other side?
Thanks.
: )
Yes, it used to be quite common - think of it like a "Spun Gold" edition - two hits back to back to encourage more sales of catalogue songs.
Ideal if you're trying to fill a jukebox.
True!
But of course you mean to ask: is this worth a shitload of money?!?!
...No, not realy. Does it still has it's original sleeve? (Should be a company sleeve and not a picture sleeve btw) Has the centre (the hole) of the record been pressed out? Is it in excellent condition? If the answers are: yes, no and yes respectively think about a value of around 15 to 20 dollars.
But either way it's nice item to own ;-)

But since US singles never had the "center" (the hole) to begin with (unlike UK pressings), if you're answers are "yes, of course it has 'cuz it never existed in the first place, and yes", then you're in the same shape.
As commonly available as those Golden Oldie repressings were, I truly wonder how many were sold; and how many circulate today. I suspect the number is smaller than we think. I, for one, would love to get the Killer Queen one, which I THINK (please correct me, if wrong) had the edited version of Liar on the back, for some odd reason...
