Well, I seem to see a strategy behind the choises that are made... Let's not regard the WWRY Montreal DVD, because it doesn't belong to 'the DVD collection'. It looks like they are going back in time chronologically. And Brian was, in promoting At The Bowl, hammering on the fact that it has totally different tracks then Wembley. Fact they didn't release an '85 concert first is because there are too many similarities in setlists. I think there's a big chance that next time they will release an 1979 or 1978 show. Not from 1981 0r 1980 (unfortunately...) because the setlists then have also got too many similarities to At The Bowl. But the 1979 shows are chronologically the first next in line with a non-similar enough setlist.
Am I making sence?
Anybody want to bet for Kampuchea or Paris?
Ah, they probably in some mysterious way will find the Houston tapes within a year or so...
(I'm saying this sarcastically, but may I add that I realy hope they will and release it. Sure many in here will agree!)

I almost posted the exact same thing yesterday, but stopped myself for some reason. While there are only a few to judge by, I do think maybe they're going backwards like you said.
Or it could be that they chose MK right now because it's a sort of slap in the face at the WWRY Montreal show which they don't own. Same era, better show, better mix, better extras :)
Technically, the topic says "The Next DVD", so he's right - GVH3 will most likely be next.
However, in terms of concert DVDs........I'd wager something between 1977 and 1979.

That's a pretty good theory. I'm with you on that one, because Brian has slammed the Montreal DVD more than once. It makes all too much sense!
The idea for a DVD of the complete Rainbow 74 show *without overdubs* would be a dream come true for a lot of us.
