You 've recently downloaded a file called "I guess we're falling out" it claims to be dropped fron the Miracle Sessions. I haven't heard about this song until now, for the xperts: is it a fake? Thanks, Julio |

Ofcourse it's not fake. |
pepe_botella 23.09.2004 16:34 |
LOL. Great, do you have further information about this song? |
Mean Mistreater 23.09.2004 16:35 |
LOVE that demo! |
FriedChicken 23.09.2004 16:41 |
it's from 1988 :-) Some people say it's written by Brian and some say it's written by Freddie. |

"You stabbed your knife...right in my back....was it just something that i might have said" wowowowowowowow! what an intro! |
Zander05 23.09.2004 20:09 |
I really wish they kept that on the album! That was some good stuff. |

Hey thanks!! Very cool tune I must say. |
Maz 24.09.2004 01:04 |
I guess I'm in the minority when I say that that song bores me. Maybe because it is unfinished, but there was better unreleased songs, demos, etc, in my opinion. Still, I do find myself singing the chorus part for no reason at all. |
Lester Burnham 24.09.2004 01:06 |
I'd never heard this version before. I see it adds bits from 'Hang On In There', and turns it into a complete song. Let me guess - a fan mix? |
Gunpowder Gelatine 24.09.2004 01:09 |
I believe so. I found it on QOL earlier tonight, and thought of this thread when I saw it. Here's the link to the topic if anyone's interested. link |
FriedChicken 24.09.2004 04:33 |
This a fan mix yes |
Regor 24.09.2004 06:54 |
I also heard (I guess I read it on QueenPictureHall) "Hang on on there" emerged from "Falling out", and that the riff from HOIT was meant to be the outro of IGWFO - thats why it's on the end of that demo, so perhaps no fan mix ? They seem to have preferred to complete HOIT. Can anyone confirm that ? |
Oberon 24.09.2004 07:59 |
Didn't IGWFO also have the same bass line as My Baby Does Me? So interesting that all these songs kinda came from similar roots. Bit like the intro to Breakthru being tacked on from another unused song. I find this stuff so fascinating. I'd love Brian, Roger and John to sit down and give a complete analysis of the albums etc and go through stuff like this. THAT would be a DVD worth its weight in gold! |
Perry 24.09.2004 08:29 |
Interesting song, The solo is very similar to 'Gimme The Prize'! I think thats the one, I'm not very well so I'm a bit thick today... They should have kept it in The Miracle! |
Sicmot 24.09.2004 10:18 |
I'd say the shorter version is better.. if U cut off that chaotic medley in between.. |
Adam Baboolal 24.09.2004 10:27 |
Regor, it's a fan mix because a fan has taken those elements of the demo and edited them. Basically mixed things up a bit. Which brings me to the next point - The demo floating around is part of a medley of songs, e.g. Breakthru (Intro demo), My Baby Loves Me, I Guess We're Falling Out, Hang On In There.
Oberon wrote: Didn't IGWFO also have the same bass line as My Baby Does Me?IGWFO only started with the beat left by "My Baby Loves Me." It didn't have the same bass line. Adam, just listened to IGWFO again, and yes I see that it is the beat, not the bass line. Apologies. I wonder which came first? IGWFO or MBDM? I would suggest IGWFO came first, it wasn't finished so (John i think) "nicked" it for MBDM? This kind of stuff is what I find interesting and why I'd be fascinated by an analysis by the three of them. |
Ron 24.09.2004 14:25 |
this is a very bad mix I must say. The known version is followed by Hang On In There and this bloke mixed a middle part of IGWFO to the end plus the end of Hammer To Fall. Very bad |
Bohardy 24.09.2004 16:51 |
Oberon, you've totally missed Adam's point and are still getting the wrong end of the stick unfortunately. Basically what happened is this. Queen recorded demo versions for all/most of the songs that ended up on The Miracle, and at some point decided to splice these demo versions together into one long medley. This demo-medley somehow got leaked, and the indiviual songs were separated into individual tracks. As all the music was originally part of one long cohesive edited-together medley, some of the separated tracks now have bits of other songs tacked onto the beginning or end of them. Therefore the percussion/drum track that you now hear at the start of IGWFO never had anything to do with that song. It simply appears there because Queen evidently decided to segue the outro of MBDM into the intro of IGWFO when they compiled the demo medley. The fact that the drum/percussion track is integral to MBDM, and appears throughout it whilst only appearing in the first few bars of IGWFO should be evidence enough of the fact that it obviously originates from MBDM. |
KJ 25.09.2004 12:05 |
But the added Hammer to Fall drum at the end of the "mix" is just horrible... |
Penis - Vagina 25.09.2004 12:43 |
I kinda like this edit but I agree the HTF ending is cheesy :) |
BackToHuman 25.09.2004 13:46 |
it may be a cheesy ending, but i think most of you are missing the point -- it's a fanmix, not a fake. someone was having fun with it, not trying to pass it off as a complete take of the song. i myself have used the HTF ending for a couple of my own mixes, just to have some fun with it. i don't see it as any better or worse than Queen themselves tossing Freddie saying, "...It's Magic!" into IWBTLY. i, personally, have had quite a bit of success, and fun, blending elements from other songs together. (i'll have to post my "New Life Is Born/Lily of the Valley" on Stage of Champions -- anyone going to have issues with fanmixes appearing there? because i can't sing for shit, and can't play anything other than drums...so it's ither fanmixes, or i can record and post (poor sounding) drumtracks of various songs) |
inu-liger 25.09.2004 15:05 |
I like this mix. The editing could be a bit better near the end. I like the HTF ending as well. For Miracle demos, I only have IGWFO, as well as the 1-minute demos of IWIA, TIM, Miracle, and Scandal. This is the first time I have heard anything from the Fiddly Jam demo ("Hang On In There") more than a few seconds' worth of the beginning. Btw. does anyone have any of the other Miracle demos? I know Mariano Bryner had a demo of Hijack My Heart, which I really want (but shame the bugger went out of trading business) |
Pim Derks 25.09.2004 15:18 |
The only Miracle demo's available to us at this moment are the tracks from the demo medley (Falling Out / IWIA / HOIT jam / Chinese Torture / New Life / Baby Loves Me) and the 1 minute demo's. Then there's stuff like Dog With A Bone and TMLWKY. There's also an audience recording of the Hijack My Heart demo, recorded at one of the Queenconventions. That's it I think, though I'm sure there are some people with more stuff :) |
inu-liger 25.09.2004 16:54 |
Well, at least for once you're being serious, RIGHT Pimmy? |

You have to sing and play the instruments. |

Hi, first post here. That 'crappy' fan mix was actually done by me ages ago on Cool Edit 96 :P Basically, from the Fiddly Jam demo, it sounded like he was singing "Falling out, falling out". So I grabbed that and tried to incorporate it into the IGWFO demo. The only reason I put the HTF gunshot at the end was because I extended the final bass note by slowing down the song. This usually distorts the wave. If I'd have slowed it down anymore, it'd have distorted horribly. That's why I stuck that on the end. Cheers to those who liked it, and for those who don't, sorry it was the first one I'd ever done. |
PTRACER 17.11.2004 18:42 |
QUOTE: "Didn't IGWFO also have the same bass line as My Baby Does Me?" As far as I know, it was basically like a 'click-track' so Freddie could keep in time when singing the intro. |
DidymusBrush 17.11.2004 18:45 |
I know the guy who made it, not a bad job, but I told him at the time the HTF ending didn't work. Its just a bit of fun - I do that kind of thing myself... This link might be of some interest to some of you... link And also - as was on that previous link... I did a fanmix of 'Under Pressure', putting Eminem's 'Without Me' over the top - answering back someone on QOL who said Queen and Eminem would never work well together (after Brian said he admired Eminem or something). The link to that is link - enjoy. :) |
PTRACER 18.11.2004 09:30 |
I'm sure I read somewhere (probably on here) that the Hijack My Heart demo was 'fake', meaning it's someone recording it in bad quality and passing it off as something that it's not. I haven't heard this 'demo' version, anyway, so I can't decide for myself whether this is the case. |
Pim Derks 18.11.2004 10:41 |
The audience recording of HMH sounds different than the single version. More percussion and different vocals. |
Wilki Amieva 18.11.2004 14:28 |
Indeed. |
inu-liger 18.11.2004 17:27 |
I finally found the HMH demo. Indeed it is an audience recording, though I don't remember reading that it was played at the convention(s). It's definitely a real demo, I can tell you guys that much. Shame that there are only low-quality recordings of this where I found it. |
