"...an amazing new mashup of various hip hop vocals and audio samples laid over classic Queen tracks"
The creator's page (with a torrent) is here link
There's a mirror here too link
I'm d/ling it now so can't comment yet...
Oh my. This is probably going to be really bad :-P But I can't resist having a listen. The titles are certainly uh, interesting.
Thanks for the link! (I think)
Hmm, I kind of like it so far. I also have a strange feeling that some of my own karaoke re-edits were used ;)
Not what I expected. Very well-made and there's some really cool historic sound clips. I never dreamed I'd hear Larry 'Bud' Melman talking over 'Keep Yourself Alive'.
Actually it's right before Keep Yourself Alive.. the guy who says "This is a rock n' roll museum. You guys don't belong in here" Maybe it's not him but it's sure a similar voice.
He's a goofball that used to make himself look like a moron for David Letterman. Real name is Calvert DeForest.
You can see and hear him here: link
So, anyone else now have this in high rotation on their iPod? This is one of those mixes that just seems to get better on each listen.
Certainly not the most innovative thing I've heard, but it's damn catchy.
Has Brian or Roger commented on this yet?
Well I downloaded everything and I think they are fucking hilarious.
Especially the roger tracks are done nicely. Roger should have been in a hiphop band, hahaha Fight and Jazz are great!!!
Slim Shady vs. Bicycle and Play The Game at the Gay Bar
great stuff this!!!!
