And the bashing has begun!!!
Though, along topic lines, (if there are any) I like John's quiet intensity. I don't have a favourite, but he's in the same pedastal class with the rest of them.
Everyone else, step up and say what you think about John. We might actually get a good, in depth, civil discussion about this...
...who am I kidding. Continue bashing.

Yes, yes, yes. Don't you know? The word "URGENT", especially when expressed in ALL CAPS means "ignore the ignoramus".
I'm just a poor boy, nobody loves me
He's just a dim-wit, from the royal family
Spare him your comments 'bout his au-dacity!
Man I hate newbie bashing, but it seems I kinda love the bohemian bashing... especially when some topic is posted just in order to be bashed (like this one).
So what's so urgent about John?!
Again, a very loud smacking sound, like a side of meat slamming into metal. Oh, that was me killing myself mercilessly when seeing the contents here.
[SFX: Smack, smack, smack.]
And the bashing has DEFINITELY begun. :)
Urgent Thing? Hmm is a contradiction to say URGENT to someone who is in a very pacific life, is a little bit WEIRD, probably is a redaction mistake in the TITLE of the subject...
Take a goood large Hollyday Mr. Deacon, most of the active person have the right to enjoy the years OFF!! I am Wating for mine!
I really hate it when people grab my attention for no damn reason. I'd have been less peeved if the topic when i had arrived had actually been ok but it a stupid subject and a stupid question.
not urget...and utter sh*te!!!!
queen would've still existed/and been hugely successful without John Deacon.
i personally can live without AOBTD - after all his biggest selling song is blatant plagiarism! and anyone on here who doesn't know when/where he "lifted" that bassline from - doesn't deserve to call themsleves a music fan
okay i admit - i might miss some of his older efforts - YMBF SYW but his 80s writing was poor - one year of love? please
I've always liked One Year Of Love, but then again, I tend to be fond of cheesy love songs. :)
Anyway, yes, John can be jolly. Just look at the Magic Years video when he's falling off of chairs and dancing like a loon.

hate to argue here, but most real queen fans accept the fact that it was all four of the band who made it queen. deaky's talent was never argued. they all said he never dropped a beat, that he was in charge of the groups finances and that he grounded the band often. so basically without him, queen would have been something else entirely
