I wonder if Richard might set up a link designated for 'newbies' addressing the usual FAQ-- obviously we all want to promote traffic on the site, bring more fans to Queen's music, and generally encourage the next generation of fans. Maybe it's been done. The Queenzone sometimes seems ominously like one of the infamous band meetings, ya know? I've been frustrated once or twice and sent a flame, and maybe I shouldn't have. But newer fans who want to feel accepted (esp. in USA, where the band presence could use some increase) shouldn't get distracted by the scandals. How many of them have access to 'As It Began' or do they choose the Queenzone as their first visit into the Queen kingdom? Is it me, or do I notice folks like Harvey Goldsmith or Moxie Glover posting less when flame wars go on? Peace love and a Philly steak and cheese with chips and beer... |
