Its almost 6pm, my dog Baby (a Shih Tzu) has been in labour since this morning and the first pup is on its way now! The bag is coming out and the first puppy will come out after...
I'll update you all later on how many she has, the colours, the gender, etc.
Wish her luck!
Aw, how sweet! I have a little shih tzu puppy that my family got back in June and she's the sweetest, most adorable dog. Her name is Lucy. :^)
Hope the pups arrive safe and sound!
Thanks for the replies, but bad news...
The pup was stuck for almost an hour so my dad had to take her to the vets, she may have to have a caesarian (sp?) so hopefully shes gonna be ok.
Shes had to have a caesarian and a hysterectomy (sp?) and we'll be phoned by the vets when its over, shouldn't be long, hopefully we'll come home with many healthy puppies, and many thanks for your words people!
I'm afraid she has had only one puppy, she isn't back yet but she had only two overall, one if fine and one didn't make it...
Above all though, we gotta hope this pup is a nice, healthy and beautiful little puppy and that Baby (the mother) is fine...
I'm sorry to hear that one didn't make it but it will be much easier on Baby to only have to take care of one pup, so that's a good thing after what she's been through.
WOW thats fantastic, she looks gorgeous. Any ideas for a name yet, you could choose someones nic from QZ. Imagine it your calling her back to you shouting "here Fried Chicken".
:))
Omg, thats sooooo adorable! I dont want kids of my own, but the heart strings are being played here!!!!
Im sorry to hear one couldnt make it- nature can be harsh....
awwwwwww it's so cute!
god i don't want another dog
lol
this one's enough
that's one reason she was fixed as a pup -_-
don't want another jack russel running around...
anyway, have fun with the new puppy!
Another update :)
We may call her Tati if we keep her but we're gonna give her a special pedigree name because shes the only puppy that Baby's had and ever will have...
If theres anything else important that may happen I'll reply to this post...
