With Brian's backing track?
If anyone has sent a song in that hasn't yet appeared, can you contact me on richard@thinkingwebsites.com.au
Thanks
Richard
A much more welcome addition to the Stage Of Champions. Thanks to the mystery person. Just a shame about the crackles.
Usually this is due to two or three things:
1. Mic used on amp can't take the pressure level
2. Levels set too high on recorder
3. Or mixed with the levels set too high
Use preventive measures and your recordings will be fine. Btw, no.2 also refers to DI'ed guitar.
Peace,
Adam.
Really, Sir GH?? (Where are you?)
But his last recording was very clear so he wouldn't make the crackling sound in the next one he submits...
But anyways, wow! Very impressive, although there was no vocal I enjoyed it thoroughly.
It's the only way not to get attacked by Queenzoners...record an instrumental :-)
The song i'm recording at the moment for Queenzone will have vocals, and I don't care what you think :P
Thanks for your compliments guys. I did not think I would have so much positive reactions. I had a lot of doubts about this one.
About the cracks: I know i do not have the equipment to make it sound really proffesional but I think I could do better. If anyone of you can give me some advise that would be great.
Yeah, pretty good, all in all.
Like Whirled Peas, I've no idea where this crackling that's supposed to be all over the track is though. There are quite a few examples of unwanted string/guitar noise, but this is purely a performance-related noise, and in no way an unwanted by-product caused by a poor recording method or anything.

The best advise I can give you (but I think all the others here will agree!!!) is to keep on doing things with the same passion that pours out your recording... You have a really nice 'feel' and you can keep it up just giving always new nourishment to your passion... The technical aspect, in my opinion, is good, don't mind about that... I mean... It's all inside your heart... That's it!!!
Compliments, and remember, keep on rockin'
:-)

Well, let's not get carried away. Getting a cleaner sounding recording could only make his work sound better. With just a little effort (and maybe a little money too) the quality could no doubt be improved tremendously.
