Yesterday, while watching cricket on TV, I heard "Breakthru" being played at the stadium. (They normally play AOBTD at the fall of a wicket) it was a total surprise! |

Yesteday, the oldies station where I lived played a commercial for "We Will Rock You" TWICE! And I got really mad, since I probably am never gonna end up seeing it. |
| NoOneButMe 07.09.2004 20:16 |
Well, here in Mexico, there is a radio station that usually plays songs from the Play The Game album, between some radio programs. I think one of the technicians or programmers like Queen. Sometimes they usually also plays BoRhap. The only thing that I don´t like is that they are never played compelete. :( QUEEN ROCKS!!! |
| rhapsody__87 07.09.2004 20:23 |
Woohoooooo!! It's so much easier to listen to it on a CD, though. I'm such a pessimist sometimes, haha. |
| Zander05 07.09.2004 22:12 |
All I hear on the radio are: We Will Rock You We Are The Champions Another One Bites The Dust Under Pressure And once in a blue moon: Somebody To Love You're My Best Friend Bicycle Race Fat Bottomed Girls If we US citizens behave ourselves: Killer Queen - not bad for American radio :-) I think I may have heard Tie Your Mother Down once, too. |
| Gunpowder Gelatine 07.09.2004 22:48 |
I live in the US, and Zander05's got the list right. I did hear Stone Cold Crazy, most of the Hammersmith Odeon '75 concert, and the entire A Night At The Opera album on Sunday, though. |

A little QUEEN on the radio: That's good - it makes you smile. Too much QUEEN on all the stations: That's BAD. Probably one of the guys is dead - it makes you cry. |
| Mr Coolest Cat 08.09.2004 10:11 |
Another unbelieveable Queen related item......... went to London, and found out that Queen actually live in a big house called Buckingham Palace. |
| 3137prof 08.09.2004 12:00 |
On Virgin Radio in the UK they play a snippet of Time by FM everyday before playing a request for a sonfg that somebody has not heard for ages. |
| Zander05 08.09.2004 17:14 |
On one of the local rock stations here, they usually play the opening riff to I Want It All while advertising the station. I just remembered that! But that totally made my day.... week... month :-) |
| goinback 08.09.2004 19:06 |
Well at least there are about 6-8 Queen songs played on classic rock stations in the States still. A lot of bands like ELP and Jethro Tull are down to 1 or 2. |
| Goo 08.09.2004 20:55 |
I hear Killer Queen, BoRhap and Under Pressure most often, cause I listen to a classic rock station. I always get excited when they come on though. :) |
| KJ 09.09.2004 10:55 |
Last Friday I heard The Prophet's Song, never thought any radio station would play that song! |
| Queenrocks4579 09.09.2004 20:08 |
LOL queen comes on the radio all the time here in america on the rock stations. |
| Janet 09.09.2004 22:23 |
I just heard 'Keep Yourself Alive' on the radio on my way home from the mall...be still my beating heart! ;-) |

Listen to Veronica radio Willem Jan, and you will hear Queen twice a day!!! Sometimes even more. |

The Mir@cle wrote: Listen to Veronica radio Willem Jan, and you will hear Queen twice a day!!! Sometimes even more.Looks like you totally missed the sarcasm.... Queen gets played a quadrazillion of times on the radio every day. And it's most of the time a song of either GH1 or 2. I really don't care if I here it on the radio. If I want Queen, I'll play a CD. I really don't get it why people make topics where they tell they heared Queen on the radio. Everybody who listens to the radio does hear Queen. What's the deal? I mean, if they air a show that a local radio station has recorded (e.g. Mannheim '86), then it's worthwile making a topic out of it so people can tune in. |

Here in México (Guadalajara) Queen rules! talking about "classic" groups, Queen appear frequently, Queen doesn't have special programs permanent like the Beatles, but you could listen them all day, with their classics: Killer Queen, I want it All, I want to break free, AOBTD, under pressure, WWRY, WATC, innuendo, TSMGO, STL, BoRhap,AKOM... |
