I see a trend when browsing Ebay. Listings say PayPal payments must add 4% or 5% to the total. Why can't these jerks pay their own fees for using companies to sell their stuff and get payments? I'm surprised they don't charge buyers their listing fees too.
Maybe they should add another fee for their time and effort in selling the item too.
It's because they have got sense. Why not charge abit more? It's not like it's £40 more. It's about £2 extra. And it's not just U.K folks, It's everyone.
The seller is supposed to pay that fee for using the PayPal service, not the buyer. I have yet to see anyone from the U.S. attempting such nonsense.
Oh, and while we're on the subject of Ebay. Here's another tip for sellers: Feedback for your buyers is to be given right after you receive payment, and only in regards to payment. It's not to be held hostage until you receive feedback yourself.
If you havnt seen any else do it, then just look at any other ebay site. Why are you getting upset over a few pounds/dollars? I don't think someone is an asshole just because they charge you a fee that costs you next to nothing. I fyou dont want to pay the extra, then just dont buy it.
I hate people who hold feedback hostage. They do that to me all the time -- and also sometimes won't give me feedback even when I've given them!
Bastards.
Yeah it happened to me too many times, so recently I gave the guy negative feedback simply for not giving me feedback. Then he gave me a negative for giving him a negative. It worked out lovely.
