CD'S I FEEL EMBARASSED TO OWN... - THE HITS (Backstreet Boys) - BABY ONE MORE TIME (Britney Spears) - LET GO (Avril Lavigne) - GREATEST HITS (Journey) - FEVER (Kylie Minogue) - SPICE (Spice Girls) - SPICE WORLD (Spice Girls) All of the above have catchy songs that I just can't help to like them. - THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP (Eminem) - THE EMINEM SHOW (Eminem) - GREATEST HITS (2Pac) - BIG BOI AND DRE PRESENT... (Outkast) - 2001 (Dr Dre) - GREATEST HITS (Run DMC) There's an urban ghetto boy inside many of us... mine hardly ever shows, but it still motivated me to get those CDs. - POP ART (Pet Shop Boys) I loved the Pet Shop Boys back in the 80s when their music sounded more new wave pop than gay. In the 90s they just sounded far more gay than pop. - FALLING INTO YOU (Celine Dion) - LET'S TALK ABOUT LOVE (Celine Dion) Shoot me for buying these ones... but sometimes I'm a victim of falling in the mood for this romantic crap - GREATEST HITS (Fleetwood Mac) This is like soft rock for baby boomer women. Some of their songs are great... while some others like 'Landslide' plain SUCK. ----------------------------------------------- CDS I REGRET TO HAVE BOUGHT - ELEPHANT (White Stripes) I bought this because I thought 'Seven Nation Army' and 'The Hardest Button To Button' are superb... happens to be that those are the only two good songs on the album. The rest is crap. - INVINCIBLE (Michael Jackson) All this CD prooves was that he was no longer 'The King Of Pop'... not so invincible to me after all. - PRE-ORDAINED (Queen) No comments... we all know why we regret buying it. - GREATEST HITS (The Cure) After reading Robert Smith's comments against Queen, I don't feel like ever listening to this 80s goth garbage. This one went from an embarassing CD to own, to a CD I will no longer feel like to listen to. |

I don't feel embarrased to have a journey cd..I actually think they are a good band. i have the queen pre-ordained cd..and i only listen to the first song..haha Well the cd's i regret having are uh.... i cant think of any haha the cd's i regret bying are probably avril, i heard of her a long time ago and wanted to know what she played and i wasnt interrested in it another one is mombo no. 5 i dont know what i was thinking i did buy the blue man group..i liked it though..i wish it was for me though...i bought it for my dad -Yogurt- |
SergeantPepperDG 04.09.2004 12:52 |
*NSYNC- No Strings Attached Britney Spears- Oops! I Did It Again Destiny's Child- The Writing's On the Wall And I'm not embarrased to say I own ALL 3 Spice Girls CDs, which me and my friends listen to frequently. There are some very gross subliminal messages in some of their songs. i.e. 2 Become 1: "Be a little bit wiser baby, PUT IT ON, PUT IT ON... cause tonight, is the night when 2 become 1!" That whole song is pretty gross, but me and my friends get a kick out of that one line. |

Until about a month ago, I had so many CDs to be embarassed of. The Baja Men, Britney Spears, Eden's Crush, Backstreet Boys, Avril Lavigne, N*Sync, etc. They were just taking up space, so I sold them all. |

I like Landslide... And ABBA as well. :/ |
geeksandgeeks 04.09.2004 19:04 |
The CD I am most embarrassed to own is Neil Diamond's Greatest Hits. Much as I loath Neil Diamond, I love the songs "Song Sung Blue" and "Heart Light". So I feel slightly hypocritical, but I haven't been struck down by lightning bolts yet, so I guess I'm okay. CD I most regret having bought was was John Lennon's album Two Virgins. I don't like the cover art and the music is puke-inducing. If I ever find my friend who recommended it, I'm going to kill him. |

Barry Manilow - summer of 78 All my NSync CD's All my Backstreet Boy CD's I have Aaron Carter only because BMG Music Services sent it to me because I did not decline it in time. Britney Spears... |

Heeeeeey... Barry Manilow is good. |
The Real Wizard 04.09.2004 23:29 |
The first two Green Day albums. But still, I can't help but enjoy a couple tracks on each one. The rest is just punky crap. |

MayFan 06.09.2004 17:40 |
I've got alot of CD's that maybe would embarrass other people, but I have such a broad taste in music, it just doesn't effect me. I have everything from Neil Diamond to Dio to Garth Brooks to Led Zeppelin to ABC to Queen to the Beach Boys to Buddy Guy, etc. etc. etc. I've got classical, blues, metal, progressive rock, country, pop, 70's, 80's....I just love music I guess! Ok...I did buy Shania Twain...but hey...I was into it at the time!! Besides, she's hot....and that's my story and I'm sticking to it! lol |

embarassed to own: Treana Morris - Naked (hey it was $1 ok) C.W. McCall - Greatest Hits (only country related thing in my collection) regret buying: Ash Castles On The Ghost Coast (thought was something else, pure crap noise, literally) haha, actually I got both the ash castles and treans Cds at the same $1 CD sale at one of the record stores at home was having...gotta love those $1 CDs |

I used to like Roxette. So I bought most of their albums up to the mid 90's. Don't listen to them anymore. Furthermore I really hate the Elton John single, together with Kiki Dee (Don't go breaking my heart). However, I had to buy it because of the b-side ;) |
the oppositionist 07.09.2004 06:44 |
Apparently i should be appauled at myself for owning celine dions entire back catelogue, but im not. she can at least hold a fucking note, which is more than most can these days. I must also admit to owning plenty of steps, abba, shania twain and take that. I dont really regret buying any (expt pre ordained- doh!) because every song i own i associate with a particular place or time in my life. |
Mr.Jingles 07.09.2004 09:57 |
Roxette is awesome, and so is Ace of Base. Many people are ashamed of liking them but I'm not. Sadly, I have to say that Roxette hardly did anything good after 'Look Sharp!' and 'Joyride'. Something very similar happened with Ace Of Base after the albums 'The Sign' and 'The Bridge'. I still like Roxette a lot more than Ace Of Base. |

And you have to face the fact that it's very easy listening music, without any outstanding musical capabilities. |
