Much as I hate mustaches, I think he looked best in the mid-80s with short hair and mustache. |

Hot Space Freddie. I reckon he shaved to look presentable for Monsterrat (I know. I spelt it Monster Rat) |
Gunpowder Gelatine 01.09.2004 20:45 |
Personally, I like the long hair best, but I don't mind any of his other looks. |
nibznik 01.09.2004 21:18 |
i liked almost all styles of Freddie except the miracle era it just made him look his age (and Freddie almost never looked his age) even in the last year of his life he had the look of an established business man that had seen all roads of life. But my favorite is the Game Freddie on one cover i had seen where Freddie has almost elvis style hair and is clean shave; sharp! |

'70s Freddie. I prefer most things '70s, when speaking on Queen terms. |
Brianmay1975 02.09.2004 06:39 |
Long hair and black nails, definitely! Especially the 74-75 era... |

I don't care what he looked like. |
Jjeroen 02.09.2004 07:52 |
Long hair and nailpolish: my personal favourite era, though he looked rediciolous (but it worked ;-) The moustache: as Freddie as Freddie could get, the image the world remembers him by The short beard: I realy liked that image. Indeed it made him look his age, but I think it suited him very very well. Yeah, I like that look a lot. |

ALIVE! |
willem-jan 8923 02.09.2004 08:27 |
As a toddler..... as a close second, his '75 style |
BrianRules 02.09.2004 11:28 |
I'm with BrianMay1975. His long hair and painted fingernails are how I first saw him (1975), and how I still think of him when I think of Queen. |
Freddie_slave 02.09.2004 14:12 |
short hair, mustache |
mamamia 02.09.2004 15:10 |
It's got to be Live aid Freddie, He looks very dominant |
sonic killer 02.09.2004 15:35 |
ive always liked the short hair and stubble beard look more. he looked really, really good like that. and the long hair/70s era. |
Little_Queenie 02.09.2004 15:44 |
Brianmay1975 wrote: Long hair and black nails, definitely! Especially the 74-75 era...Couldn't agree more. He was beautiful always, but in that time he was just gorgeous... And he didn't look ridiculous at all to me. |

# 2 I agree his hair was better when combed straight back like at Live Aid. :) |
Queenrocks4579 02.09.2004 18:57 |
i liked almost all styles of Freddie except the miracle era it just made him look his age (and Freddie almost never looked his age) I know what you mean, freddie never looked his age. I think he always looked like he was 29. I personally love his look in the liar video very sexy. I love all his looks though. The only one thing i never liked was when he first cut his hair and kind of was a little long in the front. He has always looked great though. |
Zander05 02.09.2004 20:44 |
OK first (because this is driving me mad) it's FreddIE! NOT Freddie!!!!! When will you newbies learn?????!!!!!!! FREDDIE MERCURY! Get it right! I liked him a lot with the stubble. Looked very cool. And he actually shaved his stach for The Great Pretender and just remained clean-shaven for Montserrat. |
PabloArg 02.09.2004 22:15 |
NO NO NO NO NO NO He shaved before that, for the great pretender video, so that he decently act as one of the girls appearing in the video. (Let's remember that Roger was other of the ladies) And the very best freddie style is (and please don't try to kill me) the Innuendo FM. |
PabloArg 02.09.2004 22:19 |
I'm sorry Zander05, you're right. I didn't read your message correctly. |
Aequanoctis 03.09.2004 08:05 |
I love the cleanshaven gentleman Great Pretender look. Second place would be '70 shaggy look, third the very shorthaired '86 look with a mustache. Earlier in the '80 he had both of them too long, he always looked like he had just woken up late :) |
♥Killer_Queen1946♥ 04.09.2004 10:07 |
I love the 70's Freddie. Long hair and black finger nails. Although the late 70's was awesome. The Game. |
The Fairy King 04.09.2004 10:52 |
74 style Freddie |
KJ 04.09.2004 11:29 |

Giacco 73 04.09.2004 23:36 |
Live Aid Freddie. On the top phisically and vocally. |
Nicoletta 07.09.2004 09:15 |
Hmmm...I like Freddie with long hairs or with short hairs & moustache...both. But I think that Freddie...with that fantastic moustache was very very seeeeeeeexy!!!! Maybe cause I love moustache...really,when I'll be married(If I'll be)my housband MUST have it! LOL *kiss* |
Nicoletta 07.09.2004 09:25 |
I've forget one thing!Remember how was sexy Freddie during Radio Ga Ga video or Live Aid...I don't know if I'll be censured( lol ) but maybe if I saw him in front of me,during that period, I would f**k with him all the day... lol FREDDIE THE SEXYEST PERSON IN THE WORLD! |
deleted user 07.09.2004 13:34 |
2. short hair, mustache! and than to the person that answered my longing newbieish question to ask. i always thought it was roger when i saw the great pretender extended version but i thought that would be ridiculous ;-) |
Kuku 07.09.2004 21:09 |
Come on guys! No one liking the Jazz look? He just looks.... wow. |
Ramses 08.09.2004 21:25 |
I'm partial to the early-mid 70's Freddie look. I.E. - Long hair, nail polish, little darker appearance (Hammersmith '75, Rainbow '74, etc.) I also like the late 70's with the shorter hair, and his leotards (Earl's Court '77). I dislike the stubble look simply because I know at that time he was getting very sick :-( 80's look was cool too...but I think part of Queen's attraction was Freddie's outlandish outfits/appearence. |
siljeoen 09.09.2004 05:09 |
The 70's-long-hair-Freddie! Lovely!! |
jorge 11.09.2004 09:57 |
I like the Jazz-Crazy Tour look (78-79), the young Mercury...no doubt |
deleted user 11.09.2004 11:17 |
Definitly short hair, mustache and his wonderful voice |
nil 11.09.2004 11:26 |
Short hair and clean shaven |
INXS 17.09.2004 10:10 |
I like him with the short hair and stubble beard like in Scandal, I think he looks really good. |
redspecial85 20.09.2004 02:28 |
Good Question... I personally favor the short hair and very short trimmed beard...but the Zhandra Rhoads get up is just as awesome! |
Shane Jazz 20.09.2004 02:41 |
Far and away my favorite Freddie era is '78 and '79. Fantastic fashion and the cropped hair, pre-moustache look. This is also my favorite Queen live era, too. I love anything Jazz related!!! For things I didn't like as much: I never cared for his '84 and '85 on-stage outfit. But didn't Brian even wear tight, almost spandex-type pants on that tour, too? Very odd sight! |
toodey 20.09.2004 12:25 |
i like the way he looked in his later years, very nice. |
QueenFan29 20.09.2004 13:24 |
