That would be really cool, are from The NL myself. But they are/were also really popular in Japan, but In The Netherlands, they had the most songs in the last 100/200/300(?) of the top 2000, with, of course, Bohrap on number 1!
In Japan they were really popular, but I think most of their songs barely reached the top 20 or something.
It's probably UK, Netherlands and Germany. I think Queen was the 4th most popular band in the Netherlands, when looking at chart-results (Beatles/Cliff Richards/Elvis had even more hits).
UK, Holland, Japan. Also they were extremely popular in some South American countries. I remember reading somewhere that Love of my Life was No. 1 in Brazil or Argentina for a ridiculus amount of time, anyone know?
It was a live version of Love Of My Life from Live Killers I think, and it was number one for ONE YEAR. Go to Queenonline.com and look on the history part and search through the albums and you'll see it somewhere. Maybe on Live Killers.
They did really well in the uk and japan. I dont think their is one country they didnt have a top ten hit in. I live in the us and i know they did quite good over here and they play a lot of queen on the rock stations in my city.
