I meant to post this a while back, particularly in reponse to Sebastian's post about his analysis of this song.
There are only 2 sections of my transcription that I know may not be 99% accurate. The first of these is the right-hand part throughout the Cm section, from halfway through bar 6 to bar 8. At this point it's impossible to hear exactly what Fred plays, so I've had to guess/approximate. What is clear here though is that Fred changes the pattern he's been playing, and is no longer just going straight up and down a 4 note arpeggio.
The second part that isn't entirely accurate is the right-hand in bar 18. On the recording there's a ritardando here, and by the end of the bar Fred's omitting some notes from the arpeggio. Because the software I used to notate this doesn't have a ritardando symbol, and because it's obvious what Fred does here and what you play needn't be completely faithful to his part, I just continued to notate the arpeggio as normal.
Having said that, the left-hand part in bars 12 and 13 won't be 100% accurate here, as again my software doesn't have the appropriate tremelo symbol, so I had to transcribe the part the next best way.
Of course, on your own you won't be able to play the entire intro piano part exactly as you hear it on record, as midway through the intro a second piano enters, doubling the right-hand an octave above, but it still sounds great with one piano.
Sorry for the differences in image size. I dunno what happened there, and don't care enough to correct it.
Anyway, all you piano players enjoy. link link link link link

Don't worry: I just asked for more transcriptions but I don't think I'm much better than you at playing piano... Shall we attend an online course together?

In terms of actually getting the notes down on paper/on screen, I've never really transcribed anything else by Queen.
Actually I did once do the intro to All Dead, All Dead, and the full band score for Fairy Feller's Master Stroke, but unfortunately I've no idea where they are now.
There's never really been much point in me doing any though, as I've got it all in my head. The only real reason I did ITLOTG was in response to Sebastian's analysis.
If any of you guys have specific requests I might one day get around to doing them, but I'm incredibly slack, so there's no guarantees.
Been meaning to get the piano score of the song - thank you so much!
*EDIT* Anyone knows any good transcribing program I can download or purchase, even? Thanks in advance! (Picking notes by ears is too much of a job)

I feel the 'best' for this is called 'Transcribe' by link
Thing is.....you DO have to use your ears for transcribing. There have been software 'claims that suggest you can notate stuff from their stuff but it's crap!
Training your ear IS the only way IMO.
'Transcribe' allows you to slow it down, loop a section and also offers 'suggested' notes and chords BUT (and I must stress this as a long time user) you DO have to put the work in. Practise makes better -
I believe this program IS the best for what you want - having used it for over 14 years.

Please please *puppy eyes*
That's not entirely true. The FFMS score I did with a programme called Cakewalk that I no longer have. I have the file, but no ability to open it, alas.
The ADAD score was handwritten, and is probably in some box in my loft or something.
If anyone has an ancient copy of Cakewalk they can give me then we might be in business. Other than that, don't get your hopes up Hobbit!
I have also transcribed 'All Dead, All Dead' many years ago and will scan my notation in the next week if it will help??
In the meantime (baby) here's my recording of the song... yikes!!! It was done MANY tears ago remember so forgive the drums etc.... I did pass this to BM who cited " A tremendous work. It's a Dead-Ringer"
Praise indeed?? link
Beautiful, ludwigs^^
No wonder BM praised you.
You nailed the feel of that song right.
But forgive me if I say I prefer Brian's voice because his voice is so special in this song.
You may have a nice piano to match his piano's sound, but his voice is unchallengeable here.
(Didn't mean it as a critic or anything, I love your rendition, I just can't stretch enough how much I love Brian on this.
I'd say that your voice is more Freddie-ish.)
Bohardy: thank you, I can wait, with or without hope ^^
