It's ok Bob...we haven't won a single medal, gold or otherwise yet. One of our rowing teams caught the crab and fell out for fuck's sake.
And all the other ones who everyone thought would win medals just haven't...bah. Stupid thing anyway...
and Mexico?
the bastards, the soccer team wants all the best stuff , clothes, food, travel, and they promise a medal, and they got out in the first round
the women which nobody paid attention to, are doing good, they are in the second round
but i do'nt see Mexico winning anything at all, maybe just one medal for Ana Guevara in the 400 m race, that's it, what a disgrace
Michael Phelps is doing reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally well. Well except for the time that Peiter van den Hoogenband and IAN 'THORPEDO' THORPE beat him. Yeah.
I'm aware that the Septics won the 400m relay and Australia came second so don't bother pointing that out.

I notice that people seem to be forgetting in all the Thorpedo hype that in Sydney he was actually beaten several times by Pieter van den Hoogenband. And that's ok by me because Hoogie is a fuck sight hotter than Thorpe - all the more shirtless shots of him :-)
Okay, I gotta point this out...

On CBC (Canadian TV station, for those of you non-Canadians), now and then they show Canadians competing. But much of their material doesn't involve Canadians. On the other hand...
NBC in the US always, always, ALWAYS has to show Americans. Screw the over-patriotism. We get the point. Now get off your fucking high horses, and realize that maybe people want to watch non-American stuff too. I'd much rather watch an Iraq vs Brazil soccer match than a couple of American dykes bouncing their asses, oops I mean a volleyball, and hugging each other after every point; or worse than that, synchonized diving. What's next? Tiddlywinks?
