I just found out that this Queen, It's a Kind of Magic Tour is playing my city on Oct.2 but I am unable to find out anything about them.
Has anyone seen them? Are they any good and do they have a website?
I am really looking forward to the show. I can't believe they are playing at a venue as large as the Civic Centre. It's also strange but nice to see that Ottawa's classic rock radio station (Chez 106) is promoting this show so much.
I already got 2 tickets in row C so I am really looking forward to the show.
Here is another link to the official site: link
I don't think they are playing Toronto, but according to the web site they are coming to London, October 3rd (the day after Ottawa).
Strangely, ticketmaster seems to only have information about the Ottawa and Vancouver shows. I guess the other Canadian dates aren't throught ticketmaster. link
BTW, I am looking forward to the renewal of the battle of Ontario next year, but unfortunately there probably won't be a season. By the time hockey comes back, most current Leaf players will probably be retired and in their senior's homes :)

Where did you hear about this? I'm considering paying the big bucks to see them in Ottawa, but if you can give me official word about a Toronto concert, then I'll be there.
they are playing in toronto, the reason I know is my dad got this flyer from the hummingbird centre as we attend alot of concerts and he mainly pays with his visa i'll dig it out and letcha know but I could have sworn i didn't read wrong and there is actually a toronto show eh cheers!
bad news is I can't find that flyer folks' must have threw it out and i called around and apparently since I only glanced at the flyer and just assumed that it was a toronto date the only one they have is the ottawa 1:-( sry folks
Damn, that's disappointing.
Well folks, do think it'd be worth it to drop 50 on a ticket, and 100 on a Greyhound bus to and from? Is this band really *that* good?
Hey GH,
check out the link link
click the events link and it's right there.
I called and told me they have sold a bunch of tickets already!!

GO LEAFS GO
Hey guys just to let u know i saw these guys perform twice now here in Australia and they are great, the guy who does freddie is awsome the other three members are good but freddie carries the show worth seeing 100%.
I heard the ad on the Radio in Toronto. Hearing the ad you would have thought it was an ad for a genuine Queen concert. Unfortunately, we'll have to settle for a tribute band. Seems to me like it would be a tease, but what else have we got?
ps its at massey hall
Well, the date isn't even on the band's website, but there's a banner on Q107.com link
So apparently they aren't going through ticketmaster. Expect 100 people to show up. But I'll be one of them.
Do you have to buy tickets online, or is there an alternative method?
did u try ticketmaster?
I have the numb if not i'll post it later on when I get home.
I think they'll get more than 100 or so people
what do ya say bout meeting a fellow queenzoner eh?;-)
I wish I could go on Oct. 1 seeing how I live in Toronto, however, family commitments keep me away. I think I will check the london show out though. Damn, Massy Hall would be a GREAT place to see these guys. One of the best places, if NOT the best place for a concert in Toronto.

GO LEAFS GO!!!
Apparently all that are left are balcony seats. That's really surprising!
Idea: anyone who wants to meet as a group at the show can email me, and we can arrange some things. I think it'd be neat to meet a few zoners!
Anyone from Vancouver in the 'mature' age group going to the show and want to meet up? I'm already travelling to see the Edmonton show, and would go to Van if I had someone to meet with for the show. It's on Sat. Sept 25 at the theatre on Homer Street (I forget the name).
