Best Buy will include an exclusive bonus DVD with this release, that will inclide "2 never before available cuts". There is no mention of what they will be though.
This is probably only a in-store promotion. Best Buy does this alot to drive business into their store as opposed to the competition. I doubt Pim will be able to buy it online.
NO WAY!!! This is why I am severely devoted to Best Buy -- I'm there like once a week. That store just kicks a lot of ass. Oh, I'm SO excited. SO EXCITED.
Normally I hate Best Buy because of certain policies they have which can make life hell for innocent customers who encounter problems, but I'll buy this of course.
Did I tell ya'll how I was overcharged there and had to wait in line over 15 minutes to get my $2 back, starting only seconds after I was rang up? And they wouldn't give me anything for the trouble they caused with their fraudulent price sticker. Assholes.
Actually Eclipsed that same thing will happen at WalMart, K-Mart, etc....I think our stores here in the US just suck in general :) Walmart has at least a 15 min. wait minimum, and K-mart didn't have checkers the day before Christmas (they just had the automated ones running...lol).
Anywayz is the DVD/CD on sale tomorrow?
Yeah but other stores will sometimes give you the item free if they overcharged, or a gift card or something. It just really burned me when I was told "Well everybody else had to wait in line too"
But I had already waited in the checkout line, been ripped off by their overcharge and then had to get in line.. it just ain't right! My receipts show when I checked out, and then when I got my $2 credit. 10:47 and 11:02 am. 15 minutes.
But I should let it go...
Anyway, yeah.. today (Tuesday) is the release date and it's in their ad for $11.99 with bonus DVD. You can't beat that.. unless they charge you $17.98 and you don't notice, or maybe you notice and get in line and wait 20 minutes for a few bucks credit, causing your lunch hour to run over time and you get fired, all because the assholes don't program their registers right.. or perhaps they do it on purpose to make extra money off of those who don't pay attention.
Hello !
It would very nice if someone could buy it for me.
I can pay by paypal without any delay.
here is my e-mail : starman@queenfrance.com
Thank you !
I preordered it for 13.99 and it didn't say anything about a DVD thing. That's sucks, I would really like to see it. And somewhere, I don't know if it's true, I heard that on the DVD it's the music video of Show Must Go On and another song. It might be true, or it might be a rumor. I don't know. .......I just found that the other one is Somebody to Love. link
I checked out the QOL topic. They're clueless as usual. Someone needs to explain to them that this version is only available in Best Buy stores in the U.S.
I've submitted the details to Jen for Brian's Soapbox so hopefully it'll be published soon.

It would appear that several people involved in that discussion on QOL are not Americans. Can't blame them for not knowing it's only available at Best Buy.
Of course, someone should tell them it's not a release to get too excited about.
As it has been revealed in the other post(s), the two bonus videos are live performances of The Show Must Go On (with Elton John) and Somebody To Love (with George Michael). Good performances indeed, just one problem...
They are being advertised as, "never-before-released videos". That can not be any further from the truth, as both have appeared on the Greatest Hits III video, released in 1999.
No matter, the CD should not be a disappointment. I'm guessing that it will go platinum at least here in the States.
I can't wait for Milton Keynes, though!!!
