Hi Brian,
just wanted to say how excited I am to see that the MK DVD will be out soon. Watch what those guys do in the editing suite though! My claim to fame is that I appear a number of times in the crowd, most noticibly during We Are The Champions. (Yes that's me with the blue & red fan club issue knitted Queen scarf singing my head off).
It only seems like yesterday when I attended the show. I had seen Queen a couple of months earlier in Dortmond on an organised coach trip which was fantastic, but somehow the MK gig topped it. It was a great day. Joan Jet and Heart were excellent supports, whilst Julian Cope had the misfortune to be right in his act when the Queen helecoptor flew in. Everyone turned away from the stage to watch it land, when we turned back he'd all but given up. It did not help when someone through a loo seat at him! I think Teardrop Explodes broke up a few days later. I seem to recall a headline in the following weeks Melody maker saying "Can Julian Cope?". Still a great day for Queen fans. (And who was that guy sleeping up a 50ft pole for charity??).
My three year old son has just discovered Queen. He repeatedly gets me to play WWRY, Another One Bites The Dust, Champions, Break Free, GaGa & Bicycle Race on the DVD. Another generation coming through lovin' Queen. I can't wait to show him the MK DVD.
I can't believe it was 22 years ago (and the fact that I am 40 this weekend!). At least the music remains timeless!!
Thanks Brian and good luck to you all with the WWRY shows. I have seen the London show 3 times and get blown away everytime.
Best wishes,
Paul Warren - life long fan

Ah Paul ! I remember it all as if 'twere yesterday ! Trouble is, I don't remember yesterday very well! ha ha!
I'm afraid we edited you out of the DVD, but don't worry, we replaced you with a lovely blonde lady exposing her breasts! (I'm joking - no protests please!)
Cheers
