Lat night, My brother and I went to Sam's Club because I wanted to see how their CD prices were. Well, I was pleasently surprised to find a boxed set of three full Jethro Tull albums for only $19.86! I snapped that baby up as quick as possible! Anyway, They had a lot of boxes like that from different bands. So, What are some of the best deals you've gotten on CD's?
My best deals have come used from Amazon, but most of the time, they're in perfect condition, except for being out of the plastic wrap. I got Another World and Back To The Light (Brian May) for $6, and I recently bought Use Your Illusion 2 (Guns N' Roses) for $3. The only bad part is the shipping, which is almost as much as the CD itself, but still, it's cheaper than I would've gotten in the stores.
Definitely get it. I'm still undecided on which one I like better, though.
If you've got a spare $5 or so, go here. (Don't mind me, I'm just the walking advertisement for Amazon! :D) link
when i was a queen obsessionist, i couldnt afford their albums. i used to pop to HMV when the sales were on and get them for one third the price (£7!) each. now i own all the studio albums but the live ones are never on offer!
