Whats your favorite scene or episode? I really like the part where Homer writes a song about Flanders (i think it's Dude Wheres my Ranch) And the episode where Homer has a monkey, i love the scene where he and his monkey are sitting on the couch, and Homer is crying and asking Marge if he can have a duck Homer: Marge, can I get a duck? Marge: You already have a monkey! Homer: Can he get a duck? |

There are way too great Simpson scenes and episodes to pick a favorite. What I can tell you is that I always laugh my ass off when they show Ralph Wiggum... Here are some classic ones: - The doctor says that if I stop picking my nose I'll stop bleeding.Hi, Super Nintendo Chalmers! - Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and then the baby looked at me. - Eww, Daddy, this tastes like Gramma! - I bent my wookie. - The doctor said I wouldn't have so many nose bleeds if I kept my finger outta there - And, when the doctor said I didn't have worms any more, that was the happiest day of my life - I found a moonrock in my nose! |

Homer is in trouble once again and sings a song to Marge about moving under the sea (a la Disney's Little Mermaid)to which Marge replies, "Homer that's your answer to everything - move under the sea!" The entire first Treehouse of Horror. |

During the "Who Shot Mr. Burns" saga: Grandpa: The lampshade is running away Also the episode featuring John Waters: Bart: Dad, why did you take me to a gay steel mill? |

I love the episode "Homer Vs. Dignity" where Mr. Burns pays Homer to be his personal prank monkey. Mr. Burns gives Homer a large amount of money and he goes into the Comic store and buys a very expensive and rare comic from the comic book guy. Homer then takes the comic out of the wrapper and begins to eat it in front of the comic book guy. The comic book guy collapses. Later in the episode Mr. Burns is dressed as santa in springfield's christmas parade. He then begins to fling fish guts at the crowd as he is shouting "merry fish-mas" Birds then begin to attack the crowd because the fish guts have attracted them. I also love all of the Halloween specials. |

I like all of the Simpsons cartoons with the exception of the recent Pieman episode. My fav has got to be when Homer sells his soul to the devil (Flanders!) for a donut (Dohnut! Ahhhgghh!! ***drool***)! I think it was one of the Halloween Specials, but I forgot which one. Kriz ;o) |

The very early ones are pretty rubbish I feel. As well as the recent one where they come to Britain and meet Tony Blair. The skateboard over the gorge is boring now. |

The one where Barney Gumble becomes sober and pilots a helicopter ect ect always sticks in the mind. And the one where Homer and Lisa do 'bonding' in those coffin things. Homer goes all around the country stuck in it and ends up back where he started. Thats a good un too. |

The problem with the Simpsons today is that the producers are way too concerned with bringing celebrity guests, rather than sticking to writing a great script and including funny gags. Did you guys see that awful episode with The Rolling Stones? We all know that Mick Jagger doesn't have a body that muscular. |

the Jimmy Page one went something to the gist of "Ooh! Look! There's Jimmy Page, the biggest stealer of black music of all time..." but I can't remember the actual line. Loved the one with Elton John Apu: ! You're Elton John! Elton: Yep, that's my name...well, not really. All time fave line has to be: "We just heard this place existed...." that is also my fave episode, the ones with Elton, the gay steel mill and a few others that escape me trailing closely behind. -Amethyst |

Arrgh... too many. I used to be addicted to that show, until it got sorta crap of late (...but I can still do a mean Homer impression) I loved the episode where Home became a hippy, and had that nasty old poncho. And I really liked the 'Flaming Moe' episode, too. Oh! And the Stonecutters episode My favourite quotes... hmm... Homer: "When will I learn? The answer to life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV!" Homer: "Please don't eat me! I have a wife and kids. Eat them!" Ralph: Me fail English? That's unpossible. Billy Corgan: "Billy Corgan, 'Smashing Pumpkins'." Homer Simpson: "Homer Simpson, smiling politely." |

there's too many to name, it's a great show, i think it would be easier to name the boring episodes (which i doubt there are many) |

Where mr burns and smithers are walking along the rooftops in the dead of night ready to break in. flanders pops his head out of the sky light with his bed hat on and says 'hiya fellers, what can i diddily do you for?' and they spray him and knock him out, so he just sinks back in! and ralph on valentines day when lisa gives him a card... "it says choo choo chose me, and theres a picture of a train!" |

In Homer vs New York where he drinks all the crab juice and has to pee, he sees 'Flushing Meadows' on a bus and has a fantasy about frolicking around in a meadow with lots of toilets. So puerile I know but hey. I like all of them really except for that horrible one where Principle Skinner turns out to be an imposter. What a waste of time. |

Queen101 wrote:Yeah, it's something along those lines. But as a hardcore Led Zeppelin fan, I take that comment very personally, especially when a bit media hit like The Simpsons is imposing this rubbish on its viewers.Lord Blackadder wrote: As well as the recent one where they come to Britain and meet Tony Blair.i believe homer said:"i can see jimmy page, the famous black guitarist...." not quite sure but he said something about jimmy page.if someone could tell me the whole line, that would be great! :) For decades, it was standard for bluesmen to borrow words and music from one another. Zeppelin is overly noted for it because they were just about the only hugely successful band to do it. It was completely hypocritital for Willie Dixon to sue LZ for Whole Lotta Love, when plenty of his own material was borrowed/stolen. They all did it, and never had a problem with it. But when it was a huge name like Zeppelin, then you had to sue! If Robert Johnson had lived 50 years longer, I'm sure he would've wanted some royalties, too. Oooookay, back to The Simpsons. *fire department arrives* *Barney holds up an axe* Barney: What are these for? Wiggum: I dunno... for chopping stuff. Barney then chops the closest fire hydrant, and belches on the third chop. Gotta love Barney. |

What a waste of time. That was the same episode where Homer is at the World Trade Center and has to pee really bad. He's told that the only toilet he can use is at the observatory at the top of the towers, so goes to the top floor of one of the Twin Towers and finds out that the toilet is out of service, so he has to come all the way down and then go to the top of the other tower. That episode has been banned from airing in America since 9/11. I don't know if they would still air re-runs in other countries. |

I love the bits where Principal Skinner has a Vietnam-flashback. Brilliant stuff :) Mr T's appearance in a recent episode about Krusty being a Jew was fab too :D |
Sir Archie 'Tiffany' Leach 07.08.2004 07:53 |
I have no idea what episode it is but the scene involves Homer trying to see writing on his back and starts spinning round on the floor trying to look at his back and his voice gets higher and higher. Also the one where Homer gets his gun and turns the lights out by shooting them. Class. Or the one where Flanders is waffling on about apples (or is it cider) and Homer's brain flys off 'thats it I'm outta here'. |

I'm heartily unsurprised that they can't show that in America, and I assumed it would just never be shown again. Imagine my joy when I discovered that I happened to still have it on tape! I hoped I could make money out of it one day. But apparently here (NZ) they will still air it cause it was on TV the other night. And since that's my favourite episode I was delighted. |
