And damn good of them to do something with this banner, because I did not raise callouses the size of small mountaintops on my fingers, not to mention, permanently dye one of my T-shirts brown, so that they could get caught.
Behold the best, unseen part of the DNC.
What you are seeing is MIT's Great Dome. link
You like? :)
(And please tell me this link works...)
I have absolutely no idea what you're on about and seeing as its you geeks I thought it must be a spot of bleating about the Bush.
However, I cannot see why on this occasion. And yet the gap between the donkeys legs, if you look closely, does look like your beloved President. Is this it?
I find it amusing that they did something like that at MIT... The nerdiest college in the nation.
If it was Colorado State, it wouldn't be as amusing and perhaps a bit of a lame prank.

Yo, this is the college where they also stuck a Wright flyer on the Dome. They love pranks like this :) And CalTech is the nerdiest college in the nation.
I should explain that the brown hanging thingys are tails that say "Dean", "Clark", and "Kerry." Each 18 feet long. The banner is 20 by 30 feet long, and for some reason it looks tiny on the Dome.
Archie - no, the rule about such things is that they don't shout political opinions, and I know I babbled a bit, but surely you can guess the relevance! :)
No sorry I don't understand all this talk of political action, colleges, MIT and Domes. It must be something very American.
Over here we prefer to throw eggs at fat politicians.

Yes, we like to do that too :)
Okay, let me explain. The donkey, over here, is the symbol of the Democratic Party (the elephant is the symbol of the Republican party - hence the bumper sticers that say, "I'll hug your elephant if you kiss my ass"). MIT is the Massachusets Institute of Technology, aka Hell, aka Nerd Central. The Great Dome is a big dome on top of one of their buildings, where students like to hang stuff.
Better now?
Hey Mandy, speaking of bumper stickers the other day I saw this crazy bitch with these ones...
- Who's Looking out for you... BILL O'REILLY
- BOYCOTT FRANCE!
- BUSH/CHENEY 2004
My favorite bumper sticker was one that said...
BUSH/SATAN 2004

O_O
Sometimes I fear for the state of this nation. The day Bill O'Reilly satarts looking out for me will be the day it snows in hell.
(btw, why aren't you ever on AIM anymore?)
I'm usually on AIM after 6 or 7pm, and I don't really like to go on AIM at work unless I have nothing else to do.
I still like to be a bit of a bad boy and post on QZ while I'm at work.

Keep up the good work.
