Next Wednesday 5th August
i thought I'd mention this because we seem to have a lot of new fans here and they may have not seen the programmes:
4.00 pm Queen: every single hit (all the videos)
7.00 pm Queen Legends (documentary)
8.00 pm Live at Milton Keynes '82 (edited!)
9.00 pm FM: Untold Story (excellent but edited?)
10.30 Queen: Top 5 videos
nothing new here guys.If you haven't seen Milton Keynes before wait for the DVD later this year - hopefully it'll be the complete concert. Queen Legends is a well liked documentary... The highlight is FM: Untold Story. A must see if your're new to Queen.
Perhaps someone could record and torrent Queen Legends (all the rest are commercially available)
for non Uk / US fans.
i think VH1 are repeating Queen Legends for the 3rd time in about 3 months. Slight overkill.
I only got SKY for the sport channels and the excellent 24 (fucking adverts though!)
How badly edited is FM: untold story on VH1 - anyone know?
Are all those shows on VH1? or on different channels? I live in the US, and I dont have BBC3, or something or other. I never heard FM: the untold story. Lik, when I was 9, I remember seeing on Bravo, they showed a biography about Freddie. But, sadly, I fell asleep. Tomorrow, on VH!, there is 'I Love The 70's', and Queen is on there.
ta-ta
No, we don't get all this stuff in the US. Just the same repeats of I Love The 90's. I wonder why they're replaying I Love The 70's again...
FM: The Untold Story is a DVD that comes in the Freddie Mercury Solo Collection. It's good; it really shows you Freddie's childhood.
all the programmes are on VH1 in the Uk.
Freddie Mercury: Untold Story is available on the
FM solo collection boxset (hardback book, 10 Cds, 2 DVds (FM solo Videos & Untold story)
its well worth the buy!
Still- even though VH1 is one of my favorite channels, some of the shows really suck. I can't stand the All Access shows (even though I end up getting sucked into shows like Celebrity Breakups of 2004). I enjoyed I Love the 90s, but how many times can I watch that, as funny as Hal Sparks and Michael Ian Black are. One day, the were showing the Surreal Life alllllll day. It's not very funny watching Vanilla Ice bitching about how Jim Carrey made fun of him and how he was pissed that the neighbor didn't buy their brownies. U.S. television is going down the toilet. Are there as many reality shows in England????
I wish we got more Queen related shows, too. Then maybe some more people could be introduced to their music other than Bohemian Rhapsody and WWRY/WATC. But all we have is shows like When Playboy Ruled The World and A To Z: Jessica Simpson.
I wish there was more Queen coverage on VH1 in the U.S. It is a time like this when there will be a Queen night that I wish I lived in the UK. Sometimes I will watch ridiculous shows on VH1 if I think there is the possibility of Queen or Freddie being mentioned for 30 seconds.

Me too. I was watching "50 Funniest Moments in Music" and Wayne's World (with Bohemian Rhapsody)was somewhere in the top ten. I was watching the show for a long time, and I missed it! I think I was being punished for my bad habit of changing the channel during commercials. I can't stand just waiting for my show to be back on so I watch something else during the commercials. I missed it! I was about to throw the remote at the TV.
Yeah. Thats what I do sometimes. But one time, i had to go somewhere, and so i taped it, and when i watched it back, there was NO QUEEN!! i was sooo mad! it was supposed to be #13, but they replaced it with The Darkness video thing. that sucked. and to think......i used to like the darkness..............grr....
Guys, believe it or not, you're missing out on nothing here. These Queen nights are boring because they just reshow the exact same things all the time.
The first one that I ever saw on VH1 was pretty good. The second was mildly better because of the FM docu extra. But these had all been seen elsewhere. So they were just hand-me-downs from other channels.
The third contained an interesting extra - the Milton Keynes addition. The fourth contained the Legends docu from the USA.
But since all of that, it is getting old. Nothing new for the last 2 years. But only annoying because of the increasing amount of times there is a Queen night. It's just getting boring. Sorry, but you can find all the stuff they show, in the shops or places like the hub.
Peace,
Adam.
