wht do you think is the worst Queen Track? I would say another one bites the dust with wyclef jean. but i also don't really like he david bowie rah mix of under pressure and i'm not too keen on flash, however i love every other song. |

KillerQueen840 30.07.2004 11:54 |
I completely HATE the ABTD remix with Wyclef Jean. He completely ruins a great song. One of the most displeasing remixes. :( |
Oberon 30.07.2004 12:02 |
mmm.... difficult. But if might have to be either My Baby Does Me, Rain Must Fall or Party. To me, they just don't do much. Don't know why it is, just don't get into them much. I love The Miracle album, and don't think i'd necessarily skip these tracks, but they're just not my favourites. Flash Gordon is a soundtrack album. You can't really differentiate the tracks on it. It's an all or nothing. Hot Space, well as a whole it didn't really work perhaps, but the songs individually probably say more than these three tracks off the miracle. And the MIH tracks are more powerful than these three. More going on in them to keep your interest. |
Oberon 30.07.2004 12:04 |
ThomasQuinn wrote: Chinese Torture. Definately.Always had to wonder at the timing of this as the Tianenmen Square thing happened around the same time!! But, it's an instrumental, and as such, can't really be judged on the same footing as a "song". And I actually like it as it's such a radical difference from Brian's usual "solo" style. But I think I remember reading somewhere that it had something to do with Roger? Can Anyone elaborate? |

Um, yeah, the AOBTD track with wyclef or whatever his name is. I just heard it the other day, and I like the original better. Also body language. I really dont like all the exhaling and inhaling and 'sss'. It just makes me nervous. Also Flash. Other than that, I love them all! ta-ta |
Gunpowder Gelatine 30.07.2004 12:33 |
It used to be Body Language, but that's grown on me. I still don't think it's a good song, but it's hilarious. So, worst song, for me, I think would have to be My Baby Does Me. It just doesn't really go anywhere. |
Brian_Mays_Wig 30.07.2004 12:34 |
I have to strongly dissagree, My Baby Does me is a great song. One of the best on The Miracle IMHO |

I don't like Hot Space tracks except Under Pressure. Staying Power is very good on live but the studio track sucks.. And A Kind Of Magic and Works non-single tracks are strange. And I can't stand Prophet's Song.. |
agneepath! 11994 30.07.2004 16:54 |
"And I can't stand Prophet's Song.. " that does surprise me. Its fantastic - one of my favourites! |
7Innuendo7 30.07.2004 17:14 |
AOBTD Wyclef OUCH! although the video is cool. A lot of the Hollywood remixes are silly if not outright banal. |
jericho05 30.07.2004 17:14 |
Prophets Song is one of my favorites though when I was a kid my sister used to tease me unmercifully "and now i know now i know now i know..." Eventually it grew on her too i think. Flash is probably the worst Queen song ever. And that's when a lot of people in North America started to hate Queen. There are other songs I'm not too crazy about (on a scale of Queen) but Flash is pure drek. |
agneepath! 11994 30.07.2004 17:24 |
Flash is cool - such a piss take song, perfect for the film. |

Spread Your Wings & In Only Seven Days, Las Palabras De Amor and many others. |
radio_what's_new 30.07.2004 20:43 |
I think the worst queen track is a song which is a different song for everyone. Some people don't like party and kash. ship for example. While I think those songs still have a modern touch,I love the cool beat and the lyrics. But I also love older stuff like my melancholy blues. Anyway the one songs I don't like that much is more of that jazz. The repeating of bits of the tracks sounds not cool but real shitty and ruins the songs I think |
joeyjojo 30.07.2004 21:21 |
anything off of Hot Space |
CHERRY 30.07.2004 21:24 |
Sorry boys and girls but the way I see it, all of Queens music form 1981 to the present stinks. C'mon, how can you compare a song like doin alright to a song like party or my baby does me. '70's queen was their absolute best. eh, that's just me. mike from toronto GO LEAFS GO!! |
jericho05 30.07.2004 23:13 |
I maintain that nothing can touch the first five albums. But to write off all the 80's stuff is silly. Queen attempted to keep there audience guessing sometimes succeeding and other times less so... (yes much of the 80's) Rob from Ontario and Go Leafs Go as well |
Rick 31.07.2004 04:32 |
Well for me the worst Queen song is Sleeping on the Sidewalk, the guitar/bassguitar are very weak in it. I also don't like Drowse, it's such a strange song. |
Brianmay1975 31.07.2004 08:19 |
Well, I really dunno which one's their worst track. I used to hate Khas.Ship, now I love it. I used to hate GDML, now I think it's just funny, though I don't like it especialy. BUT I STILL HATE BODY LANGUAGE! Come on, it's silly, it's a bit too suggestive and damn it, I can't bring myself to agree with the "sss" part! Apart of these, I love each and every Queen song. |
substitute 31.07.2004 09:39 |
I love all Queen songs. I hate all tracks made post Freddie with the exacption of Made In Heaven. The rest is only ruining what Freddie made all this years. |

Miracle Man I disagree with you. Sweet Lady is one of the best tracks from Queen. Is included on the greatest album ever made. A Night At The Opera is excelent. All tracks are amazing. |

You don't have to be a newbie to think ANATO is one of the best; it's all about personal preference anyway. Right now, my favorite albums are Sheer Heart Attack, ADATR and Innuendo, but I still think ANATO is one of their best, even if it's coupled with the other albums I mentioned. |
rhapsody__87 31.07.2004 16:34 |
Delilah. I say nothing more. |
substitute 31.07.2004 16:49 |
I could be a newbie here. But I listen to Queen about 13 years. I know what I'm talking about. Beside, ANATO is not my favourite. I prefer QII. But the ANATO is the most succesfull album ever made. |
Brimon 31.07.2004 18:05 |
I have to agree with the Miracle Man, Sweet Lady is shite, the song just does'nt seem to have a natural flow, its just too harsh on the ears. |

All I'm trying to say is that I like all the Queen songs. They might be sound different, but it's great, cause everybody likes them. Queen songs can satisfy all kind of people. That's what make them good. |
Libor2 01.08.2004 10:03 |
Ehm, Delilah. Strange song, couldn’t resist it. ANATO is very good record, but I prefer some Queen’s albums more (QII for example). It’s only everybody’s own opinion. But call somebody newbie ’cos he like the most ANATO is funny. There are a lot of newbies then among Queen’s fans. |

"Personally, I feel only about 2/3 of the album is worth listening to (for Queen-standards, that is). It sells so good because of Boh. Rhap." Ofcourse that is bullshit. If people want BoRhap, they'll buy GH1 or The Platinum Collection. They probably have heard of at least a few other songs on there so they'll say "hey, it's also got that record with Bowie" or "hey, this has got I Want To Break Free on it - remember, with all the travesty?" or something and buy it. They won't take a look at ANATO and say "hey, this included BoRhap ánd The Prophets Song". ANATO is one of Queen's most famous albums because it's one of their best AND because it includes BoRhap. Still, without BoRhap, it's a damn fine album. You don't have to be a newbie to think that ANATO is one of their best - it simply is. |
substitute 01.08.2004 16:23 |
I agree with you. If I wasn't a Queen fan I would probably prefer GHI than ANATO. |
syncursor 01.08.2004 22:52 |
I don't think remixes count as Queen songs, or soundtracks because they are written with the influence of the films. I can't really think of any "Queen" songs I don't like. But, take the band apart and that's a different story. Some of Brian May's solo stuff (All The Way To Memphis - The Guv'nor - Slow Down). This stuff is so stereotypically rock it makes me feel sick. I never liked Queen because they were rock. Sure, they have some rock influence but they cannot be labelled a rock band. I also detest the last two Cross albums. Having read and heard quotes from Roger saying "(Paraphrase)I'm a rocker at heart. I've thrown out my electronic drums" and the stabs at electronic music in "No More Fun" seem quite hypocritical since he made Fun In Space and Strange Frontier and, as un-rock as it sounds (thank god), these were great albums that definately showed his individuality. |

I love this song, and I like the fact that the track is basically their first live take (as I think Brian's mentioned on his website). I think it's a great simple song with a simple story and is one of the examples of how versatile the band could be. |

I really hate all these topics about "the worst album", "the worst song", "the worst gig". Guys, what's up with u? Dont u like Queen music anymore? Perhaps you find it boring after all these years? If so, you could just switch to and listen to Britney or Christina or something like that... To be honest, i like every single note that Freddie has sang!!! Even the tuneless ones (if there were any of them). Look around you!!! Can u find any single singer that could barely sing and act the way Freddie did? Whenever i go to "rock" gigs (oh, may God makes them "rock") i find it so boring, cause Freddie is the measure for it and i feel nostalgic for his inspiring music, his talent, his sarcastic humour. So, please dont start evermore any similar topic. The worst Queen album or song is better than the best album of any other band or singer. Freddie, we still love you!!! |

Gunpowder Gelatine 02.08.2004 18:09 |
You know, you don't have to love every Queen song to be fan. They've got over 200 songs; you can't love every single one of them. And if you do, great, but it doesn't make you better than another fan who thinks Sweet Lady is their worst track, or another who's bored of Bohemian Rhapsody. They weren't perfect; they had their share of flops and hits, just like any other band. |
