I couldn't help it! I had to download "Love of My Life"! I couldn't wait till my birthday to get ANATO... I'm not gonna download anymore Queen! I just had to have that one! I usually don't download songs by my favorite artists (Beatles and Queen).
LOL, true. I was just kidding btw.
I'm sure that all of us have at least downloaded B-Sides, Bootlegs, and other tracks that are impossible to find on CDs.
I wonder what Brian thinks about that?
I don't think it's fair to even joke around about Brian calling 46664 sharers parasites. Don't give people the wrong impression about Brian May. He has put his heart and soul into AIDS-related things since 1991, and he is 100% justified in showing his anger towards people who are essentially taking money away from AIDS charities by downloading 46664 tracks as opposed to buying them.
I think Brian was right to some extent.
But the truth is that a lot of these tracks weren't released right after the concert, and Queen fans couldn't find them anywhere else but on Kazaa.
I bought the studio versions of 'Amandla' and 'Invisible Hope' from the 46664 website, but I have to admit that I downloaded tracks from the live show from Kazaa because that was the only place where I was able to find them.
However, I bought the 46664 album and the DVD when it came out. I guess that as long as the official recording or video is released, it is the right thing to buy it, even if it was downloaded from Kazaa before.
To ease your guilt, send a £1,000 royalty cheque to:

Cheques payable to Bob The Shrek - I'll make sure it gets passed on *cough*

Thought it was mainly the charity album he had a problem with.

I remember downloading that when I first got into Queen. I remember thinking it was really, really prettiful. I remember it making me cry :'(
But... yeah, that was ages ago, and I've tired of it now.
Personally, I see nothing much wrong with downloading in the way I do it.
If I hear a song by a band which sounds good, I'll normally download a few other tracks by them before deciding whether to purchase an album or not.
If the rest of what I hear also sounds good, I'll buy the album. Therefore, I am supporting the artists I like, and not wasting money on those I don't as much.
No one loses out. Except the crap bands, but that's their fault for being crap in the first place :op
Hey... if it weren't for downloads, I'd probably never have started liking Queen, anyway.

That's a great attitude to have. But the problem is when people download or copy the entire album instead of buying it.
